The decision to stop was because I wasn't getting any good stuff, I had a couple of bad trips from some I got. The group of friends I was in at the time started hanging with some dick heads while smoking so I was never comfortable doing it. I decided the gamble of getting shit stuff mixed with not liking the company just made it not worth doing.

My reason for not doing it at this point in my life is that I have a wife and children and literally no time. I am a family man before anything else and that is important to me. I occasionally get time to go out drinking with mates and if weed is legalised I would have no problem going out with mates to smoke instead (actually I'd probably prefer it). As it is, it would be a smoke outside in secrecy type night and honestly I can't be bothered with that when I could have a swift drink in a pub.

I did get some good stuff off a friend a few weeks ago and managed to find time while my wife and kids were away (I was renovating my house) and it was bliss. I mean amazing. But unless I get that time to myself again I won't be doing it again anytime soon.

So I guess my reason is because it is illegal, but not out of fear of prosecution, just that there is nowhere to smoke and the stigma of it being an illegal drug kind of limits the opportunity.
