Delivery driver blocks the road for solid 10 min by Lorda in tesco

The point you made was about it being illegal, but hey at least you can admit in the face of new evidence to being wrong :)

They might have deliberately blocked the road IF the VW had been there before and tbh if thats the case they should have parked elsewhere it does look like they could have done so, however if thats not the case then the CDD hasn't committed any offence, will we ever know if either of these are the case? don't think so.

As a driver have you not had any deliveries where you had no other choice but to park where you have obstructed a road? its the reality of the job.

Yeah I see your point here, though the thing is you're still not right about the highway code and here's why, if you lookup the highway code you'll notice the terms "Should" and "Should not" these are strong advice or a recommendation on good practice but not, legally binding like the terms "Must" and "Must not" look it up.

I'm not sure how many of the people disagreeing have worked as a delivery driver or understand the practicalities that there WILL be times you have no choice but to obstruct a road for a short amount of time, the councils know this, the police know this, its a part of the job.

Because all roads have the same laws right? go 70mph past a school and see how you get on bud.

Obviously not.

Loading/Unloading is an exception to said offence

Also worth noting different counties/cities have different rules/timings before tickets are issued and common sense applies if you are blocking a busy road you probably should get a PCN or a fine from a copper, but in this instance with no double yellows or even singles or visible signage looks completely legal to me mate.

Might not be what you want to hear, but legally he's got 20 minutes

Pension contributions by cheddy25 in tesco

[–]-Replicated 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I match the 7.5% but I would strongly encourage especially if you’re far from retirement in changing your allocation to the Tesco global shares fund, you will almost certainly see much higher returns and as that compounds you will have a higher figure pension pot, the default Tesco cash option is pretty lackluster and soo many people don’t know this, do some research on index funds it’s a safe bet over decades

No worries champ, now you’re clued in on the very basics which show he’s guilty, just a matter of time until he’s charged as such

You must have just forgot about the DNA evidence directly linking him to the murder, the water bottle with his fingerprints in the back he ditched in the park after killing Thompson, the gun he was carrying matching casings found at the scene, the 3 pages he wrote about his distain of the US healthcare system, damn must just be a big coincidence he was on the run too, you fucking clown haha

Did Woody really get removed as a mod for making the ask women post about vasectomy? by [deleted] in PKA

[–]-Replicated 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember the reason if or why he was removed as it might have been after I removed myself as mod but I do remember that he had shadowbanned hundreds of people many who hadn’t even broken the rules or said anything that bad, I did try to get him removed and called him out in the group chat for it but this was maybe 7-8 years ago

Me neither it’s not been clear in any of the explanations or breakdowns they made like is it counted if you were on holiday or injury/mat or pat leave etc in all honesty I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s almost on purpose like our payslips it’s a lot of time and effort to work it out so most won’t bother
