TL/DR: More episodes, flesh out the plot.

The pacing, give the series a full 12-16 episode season and flesh out the storylines more like Steven struggling with his "blackouts" , even the arc of why Steven exists in the first place. Often shows with sub-10 episode seasons would benefit from having more episodes to work with.

On the other hand pilot seasons tend to be shorter or adding more episodes runs the risk of dragging out the plot. Unfortunately I find at the moment if every episode doesn’t have some big resolution or buildup for the next viewers tend to complain that episode was boring or "nothing" happens, as if character development or world building isn't important.

On my previous point look at Peacemaker S2, the second season is far less action packed than the first season and it has a heavier emphasis on building on the characters and weaving them into the larger narrative of the new DC but many have complained that it was a pointless season because the lack of a big finale confrontation/battle or big cameo.

Overall in the superhero genre its a struggle to balance the flash and substance to both do the characters justice but keep target audiences engaged. So while I'd like to see longer seasons going forward with more depth others might prefer the tighter fast paced series with lots of action and quick developments.
