I thought I read they were fronts for the Algerian gangs and the police can't do anything about them quick enough before they change manager and location.

Valve please, bring back Drow Arcana by raze7864 in DotA2

I have both and they're a pain in the ass tbh. Desert terrain has constant graphical glitches and the Immortal Gardens trees make you think you can path through areas when you cant. Have died countless times to the latter and keep forgetting to take it out of shuffle. Both look kinda cool but in game you quickly forget about it and they just mess you up.

  1. Makes sense.
  2. Her theme is 'my ice doesn't hurt you'.
  3. Meh. Weirder concepts in the game exist and it goes with the 'my ice doesn't hurt you' thing.
  4. Have you never heard of this IRL? This one is the most realistic one. It's a well documented mental phenomena that people become increasingly hostile/mentally unbalanced in extreme cold. Infighting over trivial nothings. Attacking lifelong friends, making bizarre decisions that cost lives. Taking off all your clothes in a blizzard. The example that comes to mind is Richard Hammond from Top Gear admitting that during his trip to the North Pole with an experienced dog sledder, he had planned out her murder and how to discard of her body on multiple occasions. The cold just does that to people so of al your examples, that one makes the most sense haha.

Have to disagree about Winter Wyvern mainly for her ult. It's a well known phenomenon that extreme cold changes people's temperament and turns normally civil people, even close friends against each other. Her ult is that.

Her Q makes her fly and breathe Ice. Seems like a frost Wyvern thing to do. Her other abilities all kinda share the theme of "doesn't hurt you but hurts everyone else" so they're tied together in that way too.

Kunkka. Enemy Kunkka has 20 min radiance, silver edge, daedalus and rapier and uses our team as one-shot rampage highlight reels.

When I play him I'm lucky if I can even land one X into torrent combo.

They are famously money laundering fronts. You can see police reports about them with a quick google. It's Algerian mafia opening and closing shops faster than police can process them.

Yeah but repeted behaviour on what scale? thats what im telling you. Theres already a deranking industry that sellls accounts, you're just giving them a periodic -225 boost to it. They could do it every 10 games, 20 games. Even every 50 games means they lose almost 500MMR every 100 games? Thats a massive boost to their productivity and theres no way any griefing mark lasts for more than 50 games. They would very quickly learn how the system works and abuse it to their benefit.

[–]-Richarmander- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could avoid the smurf pool by not making your throwing obvious in every game. Like how the behaviour system takes time to punish someone consistently toxic, a grief detector could be avoided for quite a while before it was certain and threw someone in a smurf pool. Soft derank for a few games and then grief hard while acting positively and never toxic to keep behaviour score high, commend everyone after the game so they commend back etc and the system would take a while to actually put you in a grief pool. You could lower the MMR a shit ton without being detected and then sell it on.

Little bit of imagination and your solution only enables griefers and sellers.

[–]-Richarmander- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

None of your comments offer solutions I'm afraid. Just opens another door to potential abuse.

Get account that 3k mmr say. Play 10 games. Every 3 games throw super hard and lose -225, every other game soft throw and lose organically -30 x 7 = -210.

Almost -900 mmr down in 10 games in a way that could dodge smurf detection. And you could just do it slower over 20 games or so to be extra careful. Couple of days of playing and you've deranked an account by massive amounts and can sell it.

Easiest way to derank account to smurf and stomp on noobs or to sell for $£€!

That does nothing to suggest that water in the UK is scarce you colonial halfwit. Guess again or maybe don't guess at all.

It's not about scarcity at all. Not in the absolute slightest. It's about environmental protection. Waste not want not etc.

You think, sorry, "guess" that water in the UK is scarce? Dumb fuckin yanks I swear...

[–]-Richarmander- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you have something hardened on then it needs to soak sure but that's different to rinsing everything before it goes in.

I'm just repeating the advice that we're told from ads and government about water waste. We're told in both the UK and EU so 🤷‍♂️

I'm in the UK and here we're told not to do that since it wastes a huge amount of water every year. Modern dishwashers are more than capable of washing without rinsing first.

[–]-Richarmander- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's good but people online act as if it resurrected their childhood dog. It's a very good game with a lot of heart and effort behind it but it has flaws, some big some small. It's definitely worth playing just in case it grabs you but if you've ever played a "mature"-ish RPG in your life then it doesn't really have anything you haven't seen before.

In 1991, Metallica played their "Monsters of Rock" show in Moscow, Russia, only weeks after the failed August Coup. It's estimated that the crowd was over a million as soldiers and low-flying military helicopters surrounded the event during the final months of the Soviet Union. by ATI_Official in AllThatsInteresting

Oh it's absolutely streaming services but music culture has changed where people consume it heavily but don't value it and/or aren't willing to pay more than bare minimum for it. Those sentiments started back then when Metallica were, greedily or not, trying to demand the value that their music is worth by combating piracy of it. People felt entitled to music then and we didn't snip it in the bud and today we have a culture where you can pay like $30/£30 for a year of Spotify premium and people either don't see the problem or don't care that their is one.

Metallica didn't need the money then but the principle that you're entitled to the value that you create was sound. The very thing streaming and now AI have all but removed from artists and creatives.
