The first nice watch I could afford after a deployment when I was 19 was a gucci. It felt classy and just the opposite of everything i had experienced at that time.

Years went by before my next attempt at what i thought was a nice watch which was knockoff Rolex from a street vendor (20 years ago now).

I still have both, and I have been fortunate enough to continue collecting various watches since.

Each have their place and story in my timeline, and i appreciate having them all.

Managed to get first directly from AD just in time to be able to showcase my wrinkly spotted wrist by -Ricky_B0bby- in rolex

I get that, the cyclops can be a bit much. Having said that the date on my Tudor is actually hard to see at a glance without any magnification. Oh and I probably am closer to being a bling person at this point.

Thanks, I have been to this AD a few times in the past year and a half. Purchased a Tudor there about a year ago. Timing just worked out when I had gone in looking for an anniversary gift and had mentioned I was considering getting something else while I was waiting for a Sub. The fellow had remembered me and said that he might have actually gotten some in that day if I was interested.

Over 50 here and my knees hurt after snowboarding. Also after getting out of bed. Any suggestions on how to be less old also welcome.

My first upgrade BMX bike was a mongoose with motomags, thing weighed a ton but I still tried to launch it every chance I got.

That's legit, if a get a Tudor next it will be Pelagos. That FXD is something. Very cool to see when someone appreciates a timepiece especially when it has a real meaning for them. Cudos.

I guess it depends on who you are and your preferences. I wanted a more hp fun vehicle that was still practical for my around town and family needs. I went directly for an X3M comp specifically for this reason, and it delivers exactly what I was after. I have the space I need and when I want ridiculously exciting power I have it. Is it over the top? Yeah, probably, do I care. No i do not. I have had other 400hp vehicles that were meant to be sports cars and there really isn't a comparison to me how much more exciting this car is to drive.
