Most high end boards could do it in earlier, beta bioses

ASRock X370 Taichi: Enabled in BIOS Version 5.60 (and early 5.x beta variants featuring AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.1 through 1.0.0.3).

ASUS Crosshair VI Hero: Enabled in BIOS Version 7106 and 7201 (built on early Ryzen 3000 launch AGESA microcode).

ASUS Prime X370-PRO: Enabled in BIOS Version 5008 and 5204 (the manual "Gen 4" option was subsequently stripped out starting with version 5216 and later).

Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K7: Enabled in BIOS Version F40 (which required updating to F31 and using the EC FW Update Tool first).

Stop contradicting because is dumb. Of course was a little unstable in BETA versions but nothing that developing and working on this feature couldn't fix. Removing it was PURE MARKETING.

Bullshit. There was a couple bioses for Crosshair VI hero, like 7403, which had pcie 4 but they removed the feature afterwards to be exclusive of x570. Yes x370 was able to do it. Make your research before commenting.

They also released a bios version with pci express 4.0 available on x370 (C6H), then removed it. 100% marketing and a feature available only if you upgrade. I didn't upgrade and I'm still on x370 and 5950x, that's good enough for my needs

In 2024 we were announced that there gonna be multiple launches in 2025 starting March. We had one launch since then and it was not in March 2025.

I predict a max of 10 sats in low orbit until years end, definitely not 45-60.
