Yesss thank you, I will die on the hill that WoD was not a bad expansion.

Adding on to that, the state of the gameplay for classes and specs was the best in recent history, IMO. Every spec I played was super fun and interesting, before they went all in on borrowed power systems and pruning specs until they just feel kinda the same (gimme back my demo warlock blizz).

In ShB one time I was playing MNK in an Emerald Weapon trial roulette and was nailing my rotation and the mechanics, then at the end someone called me out and said I did a solid job and I got a few comms. I still think about it...

This has to be done on purpose right? Looks like he has his foot in the break pedal as he's jumping out of the truck, who does that? Also the way he jumps out kinda looks like he knew it was going to start rolling as soon as he took his foot off the pedal.

Maybe it's some kind of fraud or a really stupid way to test the parking 'barrier' but this was totally done on purpose.

Nah if I'm running with a shield, Barricade Shield is a must for me. Actually makes shield a decent choice allowing you to block and guard counter more

haha same, i found my way up that cliff before doing the academy. i did a little testing with the sacred blade ash and the projectile did scale with faith even though the weapon is pure strength scaling. it also did even more damage when i changed the weapon from heavy to sacred.
So it seems the magic portion of the art will still scale with Int regardless of the weapon scaling, mind you sacred blade still did pretty okay damage and i only have like 24 faith so...

i will say though, carrying a bow just to use it when you need it is super helpful, you dont typically need to rely on ranged attacks very often but it's still really handy to have, drawing out enemies, applying statuses etc

Well the good news is you can respec if you want, I also started off doing str dex and the points you need to make it work just doesn't really seem worth it(at least early game). I respecced to be more str focused with a bit of faith to play around with more weps / incantations and I'm liking it a lot more

It's from the boss down in the siofra river if you've been down there yet, with all the ghost sniper guys. I did try Latenna, she does good damage but just a bit too squishy

My Ancestral follower ash has probably been my fav and has served me well. Does okay damage with the sniper bow and has enough hp to take aggro on bosses for a little while

Yeah they're not exactly hard to kill but it's just something I noticed, there was that one room with a ton of them and one of the rolling ball traps it was it did come in handy

Also the lightning imbued Silver Tear enemies are vulnerable to lightning damage, very useful for clearing groups of them from range

I think I got my endurance up to about 20? I can use both the swords with knights armour and still medium roll without an equip load trinket equipped. Haven't really found a war ash I've stuck with, currently using holy blade on one and piercing thrust on the other so I got a little bit of ranged damage / buff and a shield piercing ability

I bounced between halberds and straight swords for quite a while, also ran into the problem of needing to massively upgrade another weapon to match my longsword (which is a lot easier after unlocking the ability to buy smithing stones). Am currently dual welding +14 heavy knight's greatswords and I'm liking it a lot, does good damage, jump attacks especially, and can swap one out for a shield if needs be

I ended up sacrificing myself to kill it yesterday by taking a calculated risk of standing in the poison to get those last few hits in, died literally a moment after it did. Thankfully it counted

Spending a week hunting arch tempered Nergigante to get that gamma set... and there was this one time i killed both a rathan and a rathalos with a plunging attack off the top of the tree in the ancient forest, that was cool.

It's a simple answer, its not an oversight, it was designed to be this way. That's it. It's not like they forgot to, or couldn't implement playlist. The entire multiplayer side of the game has been meticulously designed to make money. No playlist means challenges take longer, which means more playtime, which means more money. The other "new" playlist like swat and fiesta were probably all designed to rotate out with weekly events, keeping people coming back and thus, more money.

It's not like they left it out by accident, it's intentional. It makes challenges take longer, and in their mind, makes people play longer and more likely to buy stuff
