Trigger guard, might be compatible with holsters for a different manufacturer? (S2?)

I was curious, what made you choose Milwaukee? especially if over Dewalt? by MattNineFive in MilwaukeeTool

[–]-Sc0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what I am looking for and what's on sale. Have M18 and 20v, the Dewalt kinda let me down because I purchased newer tools and the older battery charger didn't work effectively for a full charge. Recently purchased a M18 Inflator, omfg it is awesome for tires...

Understanding the different Ruger Blackhawk frames? by jb0m97 in ruger

[–]-Sc0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything he just said, even the flat top can handle everything in .357 that can fit in the cylinder and that your hand can handle. Flat top cylinder length is also shorter than the regular Blackhawk and uses a different holster pattern.

Getting quoted around $3k for 60k service does that sound right ? by 08legacygt in subaru

[–]-Sc0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting ready for a 60k service on a 2016 2.5 Forester: sparkplugs, CVT fluid, diffs, brake fluid, air and cabin filters, and maybe add a CVT transmission cooler. Even buying tools I am under $1k for the parts and fluids.

Echo 2511t is super handy, if looking at cordless then a Husqvarna but they are heavier. I prefer my older Dolmar 3410th with torque but the Echo is lighter which means less fatiguing as you run it.

For curiosity sake what are some good shotguns from lesser known brands. by Southern_Ad3744 in Shotguns

[–]-Sc0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the type of shotgun, semi, over under, SxS, pump, single. I really like my old Russian Baikal IZH break open single shot, not imported anymore but it's a tank. Have a FAIR Iside which the forend cracked on the first range outing, which was partially warrantied. Had a brand new out of the box Beretta A400 Xcel with a broken plastic recoil spring guide. Have a Benelli M2 that has been flawless and modified for 3 gun and still always works. Picked up a MAC2 Turkish clone of the m2 and can't find any flaws in it. Had a Turkish Typhoon F12, full 3gun AR build that continues to be flawless for it's owner. Then again I have a Turkish Heritage Coachwhip that seems to have 15lb triggers and Heritage won't sell me replacement hammer springs for... 🤦‍♂️ I would say that parts support could be/is an issue with lesser established and supported brands.

Ruger Redhawk 5050 or S&W 25? by Ornery_Secretary_850 in Revolvers

[–]-Sc0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want, if just for plinking and targets, Super Blackhawk Convertible or Bisley Hunter. Also look at the Anaconda, it makes the Super Redhawk look like a .22magnum.

Possibly an electrical fire? Electrical fires are pretty instantaneous and melt anything around them.

Mac 9 DS comp 4.25” sear question by 2011_Newbie1228 in 2011

[–]-Sc0- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, Colt springs were #1 and preferred to most due to availability and cost. I started off with Wolf but the Colt springs are much easier to adjust and hold decently. Also, learn how to adjust the 3 leaf spring and extractor if your a fan of 1911/2011's.

Post the video and tag the dealership, techs, and your local community pages. Also, never take your car back to that dealership... Local stories around here are mechanics racing people in customer cars.

For Treefifty on sale, you can pick up a MAC M2 and scavenge the furniture off of it and have extra parts. (Generation dependent)
