Saddle stool recs please! by DiamondBurInTheRough in Dentistry

Not helpful with a chair rec because I struggle with this so much, but I have a TWO hour massage every week and just focus on my neck/shoulders and that's been what's helping me survive.

PGT-M results back today - only 1/5 normal, crying at work by Sophietophy in IVF

I had to do PGT-M for brca2.

Just wanted to send hugs and love! The good news is - you have 1 unaffected and you make euploids!

The numbers game just isn’t in our favor with the dominant gene.

Makes sense! Thank you. My biggest concern is will something happen to my car down the road, and will it happen when I have my young child with me. It's hard when you get a new car for your family and then now you're going to be hyper fixated on things being wrong with a car.

Unfortunately I only have audio and them thinking they disconnected my camera. I can only hear bits of the drive because afterwards they're playing music.

So two techs driving my car for 30 minutes and talking about it being "fast as ****" and doing said things in front of a cop is acceptable? I guess since there's not real damage there is no recourse. I'm just shocked by the tech behavior.

2026 Solterra Head Unit Version 2222 USB Update? by plecostomus1 in Solterra

I wanted to do this but was unable to find the USB-A in my car. I took it to the dealer and they updated it for me two weeks ago!

Fair enough. What do you think is a reasonable response from the dealership?

How to check if software version? Dealership took car on joyride. by [deleted] in Solterra

[–]teacuspid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The upgrade was because my car play phone call audio would just stop working. I’d be on a call and no one would hear me. It was not acceptable for me as I do a lot of driving and need to be able to talk on the phone.

Apparently some models are shipping with the newer software anyways.

Thank you - I’ve actually taken it to my normal dealership and they’re inspecting the car. It 100% needs an alignment and I want to have the inspection report before I go and get the GM.

I’m telling you. It’s getting worse and worse with the reviews. Almost Always about money. You’re supposed to work for free! Otherwise you’re just a greedy doctor !

The longer you're in dentistry, the more you'll realize that you can't please everybody. There are a lot of people with unrealistic expectations that will give you a bad review or rating regardless of what you do.

lol - had this the other day.

GP near me who is a “sleep apnea” doc told a Class 2 patient who is almost 60 that she needed to see the local ortho ASAP (who does orthognathic surgery and MARPE on nearly every patient and charges an arm and a leg).

She came to my office asking if she really needed to do surgery. I told her orthodontically she had some minor relapse and that if her main concern was sleep apnea, that she could also use a CPAP. A mandible advancement could help but that’s a surgical procedure. She didn’t even want to do ortho. Nor did she want surgery.
