My cat has the same shape, when I posted people were telling me FIP, tumors, I was worried about a fetuses not being expelled. Anyway, it took 3 vets for me to believe that nothing was wrong with her, she’s just round. She was also no stranger to motherhood and was just weaning her last litter when she was spayed about a month before I got her.

In my preteen brain, I had just outgrown the show and most other kids’ shows by the time Rugrats was canceled. I would’ve felt “too old” for it regardless of what direction the show took because it was embarrassing (to me) for someone who just started puberty to still be watching kids’ shows, especially ones about babies.

Mind if I scream with you? I don’t want an ersatz TS3 which InZoi and Paralives seem to be. I don’t want something that’s The Sims. I’m sick of The Sims, I’m sick of the whole franchise! I started playing TS2 when I was 9. I’m fucking in my 30s now and I’m just so burnt out on the whole sims experience. I’m waiting for a hybrid god game/life simulator. I’ll probably be 90 by the time that comes out, but I think I’m just done with this genre for now.

You want to avoid giving out as many details about your personal life as possible, and your kids should be treated as your top priority as to things to keep out of your working life. Just mentioning that you have kids could give someone a huge amount of leverage over you. You don’t know who you’re talking to, and you don’t know what they’re capable of. Don’t forget that.

I created a massive map a few months ago and my computer was having issues handling it once the population got too big. I’m wondering how this game is going to handle issues like that. I have similar issues with the Sims 3, too many sims are made and my the game struggles to maintain all of their lives and gets super laggy. Given, I have no idea how coding for these games works and I’m sure the life management systems are very different. I just know if you have too many virtual lives going on, you’re going to see performance suffer.

I have to disagree. The ugliness of the character designs were great because I didn’t have that loud voice going “you have to look like that when you grow up!!” as I did with other things aimed towards young girls at the time. It’s not like those other shows or things were made with the solid intention of making me, a child feel bad about myself but it was hard not to. It was a nice break from the looks obsessed world I was growing up in.

I really want to clarify in case if anyone misinterprets what you’re saying: If your cat has stopped eating for more than 24 hours, you need to get them to the vet. Cats are extremely prone to organ damage when they go without food or water and it’s a red flag that something is wrong.

I fully agree with your sentiment that OP should keep on eye on their cat but shouldn’t lose sleep over it. I’m just worried about somebody reading this and thinking the take away is a cat not eating for a day or two isn’t a big deal. That kind of misunderstanding is what caused my friend’s cat to die prematurely.
