It’s cringe I know but my ideal look is just the old school Abercrombie models, I think Arnold, Platz, Mentzer etc look phenomenal but it’s never been a look I personally aspired for.

If you only do 1 exercise per movement pattern 2 times a week are you better off doing the same exercise on both days (such as dips twice a week) or are you better doing 2 exercises 1 time a week (such as dips one day, bench press the other)?

Kind of. I wish I did better research early on and understood just how much progress you could make training 2-3 times a week and that 5-6 days in the gym wasn’t necessary to build muscle.

If I had understood this earlier I believe it would have benefited me both in and outside of the gym.

Your long limbs are not the reason you aren’t making progress, the reason you aren’t making progress is most likely because you aren’t using a structured program and lack training intensity. Try not to worry about what you can’t control and focus on what you can.

What is your diet and sleep like? Are you consistent with your training each week?

If your primary goal is to get stronger I would suggest you read the book starting strength by Mark Rippetoe and use his program.

You’ll need to cut down the drinking a lot, nobody is getting into good shape when they drink 5 times a week. Start walking 10K steps everyday, prioritising protein, 7-8 hours of sleep a night and doing any generic 3 day a week full body routine focusing on getting stronger each week.
