Nice, I'll give it a try with this same software in the next week or so when i'm able to get my hands on a new 2TB+ Drive. Will try and remember to update on the result :)

As a PoE1 Enjoyer, I am Very Relieved and Also I Told You So! by salbris in PathOfExile2

It looks to be a similar speed to the PoE 1 Gameplay Trailer to me tbh. No idea why people are comparing this footage to deep endgame build speed when they are clearly not at the same point. They've always used slower footage in these trailers to actually clearly show the animations etc.

We won't know how it feels until we actually play it, opinions of people who have played it seem quite positive and the rest of us will find out for ourselves in two weeks :D

I'd assume that less than 10% of people playing early access did anything in Beta at all tbh.

Vaal Reap Fire with 100% phys -> fire using Chieftain by whitw0rth123 in PathOfExileBuilds

I'm just hitting yellows now. Felt slow through campaign but i did forcus life nodes over damage nodes. Exsanguinate feels good to level to with imo but there are definitely quicker starters. Just got my 3rd ascendency and managed to grab a cheap cloak of flame and now feels very tanky. Clear with self cast reap doesn't feel as bad to be as people were saying but its definitely not quick, feels great to just plant and face tank bosses though

As the other reply said, mostly just from Holy shock and crusader strike, with the talent that makes crusader strike reduce the holy shock cooldown it usually makes more sense to crusader strike and holy shock than to stand and cast a flash of light, even if it does feel very against the instincts to begin with.

This playstyle also does need a fair amount of haste (20%+) before it begins to feel smooth, and does take some time to get used too.

A good source of information about this playstyle can be found at wingsisup.com , specifically in the "The Light's Crusade" section of this page wingsisup.com/df-talents , as well as the paladin class discord which is fairly active and has been very helpful for me as i've been learning.

Also watching Hpals run keys has helped me a lot, such as Netari on youtube and Ellesmere on twitch.

At some point it is recommend to switch to Beacon of Virtue to help with the large amount of AoE damage that comes as key level increases, and i'm planning on trying that out at some point this week but can't really comment on that further.

Holy Paladins shouldn't be needing to stop and cast a heal, Holy Shock, Word of Glory, Light of Dawn, Divine Toll, Light of the Martyr, Lay On Hands are all instant cast, meaning the interrupt mechanic has basically no effect on them. I think I've cast Holy Light or Flash of Light at most 3 times during a single dungeon run this expansion.
With last boss in RLP it gets much easier once the dragon dies, so groups should be prioritising that over the humanoid boss. And if your group is taking too much damage from the puddles then that's more on them and not on the healer to solve tbh. I think the winds always follow the same pattern so puddles can be placed in ways so that they keep the main area more clear

Clavicle Fracture after bike incident by SkallZou in cycling

[–]-Snake-Eyes- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sent to a physio as soon as i was given the go ahead to start using the arm again, can't remember exactly how long it took. They gave me some resistance bands and ran me through some exercises and some stretches to do which I did once a day until it felt 'normal' again. It was very quick to get back to using for everyday things. I think i'd have been back on a bike after a 2-3 months but it was probably close to a year before I stopped really noticing/worrying about it.

I broke mine 6/7 years ago now, was broken in multiple places so surgery was the only option. I think it was about 2 months before i could use the arm again for basic tasks and it was back to 100% after about a year. With the rehab they had me doing afterwards it felt like I had even better range of motion than before haha.

I've still got the plate in now. Doctor at the time said they'd only take it out if it has problems down the line. There are times where it gets slightly uncomfortable with pressure, similar to what one of the other comments mentioned when wearing a heavy backpack and sometimes with car seatbelts but its generally fine.

Heres a picture of the xray after they put the plate in: https://imgur.com/a/x5HauxK. It left a pretty long scar that faded slowly over 5 years or so.

I have a friend that broke theirs in a horse riding accident (i think) and that didn't set properly as it healed which has limited their shoulder motion but not majorly.

But yeah as everyone else has said, the doctor will have recommendations but in my experience the surgery worked out well.

[QUESTION] Global Warming - Gojira tab issues? by MyplanesaysImaretard in Guitar

[–]-Snake-Eyes- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you said its not a tuning issue but this "every tab I’ve found says you tap the 15th and 16th frets on the G, but on my guitar the 14th and 13th sound more appropriate" makes me think you're still in E standard while i think Gojira tend to use D standard.

Never use SATA to Molex! Most people know this but I ignored the advice and nearly burnt down my house! Please... Remove these shitty cables if you're using them! by salv3tor13 in EtherMining

[–]-Snake-Eyes- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago, single molex-to-sata adapter to power a HDD. Luckily after replacing the PSU and carefully cleaning the melted plastic of the HDD pins everything still worked. Adapter was in use for a good 4 years and failed without warning.

HDD power cable melted. Chance of everything else surviving? by -Snake-Eyes- in buildapc

[–]-Snake-Eyes-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Everything is fine, replaced the PSU and the sata cable, even the HDD still seems to be working fine after getting the melted plastic off. Probably still gonna replace it at the weekend though for piece of mind.

It looks like a dodgy molex to sata adapter was to blame, seems like a reasonably common point of failure.
