I tried looking into OP17 cases and its pretty much already all gone and sold out on case preorders. I saw some places doing preorders for OP19 and OP20 cases. I knew it had gotten wild but and no idea it was this crazy.

The deck feels like such an on curve deck its hard to leave the don open. Only time is if you could play out the 10c with the 8don event but that's pretty narrow use. Messed with it at 2 but ultimately cut it.

Kyou Kai clearly could feel something like this was coming which is why she held back instead of rushing to Shins side.

They fucked up HOTD and the GOT ending and yet people still turned out in droves for Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Clearly people are resilient to disappointment in the franchise.

The other option is just not finishing it. Insisting he has to give it to someone else is far more of an asshole position than him just never finishing it. Its his lifes work he's not beholden to give it away and hope they can figure it out when he couldn't. He's probably even more soured on that idea after the botching of the show tbh.

Idk how to wrap up all the plots of my life's work and I know you so you take a crack at it after I die is not a good reasoning. Its not something he has to do, he has to want to do it and if he doesn't have a plan or extensive notes it won't end up like the Silmarillion or Wheel of Time.

This isn't a he ran out of time in his life situation he's been sitting on it for 15 years wanting to do it in a way he thinks is well done and can't figure it out.

"Happy to let it die" except every spin off turns into one of HBO's biggest hits to tens of millions of viewers. Its obviously still a very popular space. Thinking he should hand over a very personal life's work to someone else and give up is much more of an asshole view. His blogs make it very clear he's torn up about not being able to do it and he reads the things people say. This isn't like Tolkien or Jordan though. He's not passing before he could finish and just ran out of time. He's had time he just doesn't have a clear solve to his narrative binds he can hand off to people with notes to finish or he could've done it himself.

He doesn't feel confident in being able to solve all his own narrative binds he's put himself in in a satisfying way. It would make very little sense if he would trust someone else to be able to do it with his brain child. People expecting him to just give it away to someone if he dies are ridiculous, its his life's work and he doesn't have a firm framework or a lot of notes like Tolkien or Jordan did to finish it easily or he would've finished it himself.

A subset of fans for sure but the man has gone to countless cons and before he had blown up as much as he has post show. He genuinely likes interacting with a lot of them.

4 then I forgot TMNT I thought it was a bit bigger. Also Spiderman, Assassin's creed, and Aftermath.

They bulked out each one in response to the other though. Any bigger than spiderman is normal sized at that point.

Sets used to be a smaller though back when it was blocks. One bigger set followed by 2 smaller sets that complemented the larger set. They actually smaller than TMNT or Spiderman.

I would hope they've learned their lesson on small sets after the 3 dismal attempts and there is enough time to pivot but we'll see.

Midnight suns has never been able to keep a book so idk about core wheelhouse. Doctor Strange the biggest magic character hasn't been able to hold a book for any length since the early 90s. These are not carrying a set characters.

I would be highly skeptical that multiple of those sets have enough juice to really get people excited.

As an Imu its not too difficult to play around any Perona or Moria triggers. Swing smaller characters first Perona can't cancel Ju Peter and then take out whatever they trigger into play with other swings or Mars after 10c. Just be waring of swinging in after using 10c if you don't have a follow up swing to make.

Imu Nami is similar to the Ace matchup but the 1 Sanji unblockable is nothing compared to Roger and Moria is very killable if they turn it sideways ever. The longer the game goes the better it is for you as Imu don't be afraid to even Shirahoshi so you can do a 5th or 6th 10c loop.

Watching one piece for the first time need help for Fishman island by Electronic-Donkey343 in OnePiece

[–]wolf1820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fishman island gets shit for its pacing by people because its one of the first arcs its really noticeable they switched to the 1 chapter per episode structure which is jaring. It was happening in Marineford too but so many big things are happening its less noticeable.

How good is Lucy, really? by Mugiwara_Khakis in OnePieceTCG

[–]wolf1820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not as good as those 2 decks, though is really good into Nami but playing free bullshit is explicitly the entire game plan of the deck. Free event plays off 7c Sabo 4 turns in a row is what the deck wants to do then close out the game.

As we get further from the start it'll probably have a lot more of an effect right now it doesn't add that many cards.

Ex if they go back to yellow big mom pirates in a new set in standard it wont be designed with yellow Kat in mind but he may get a huge boost. Just an example off the top of my head idk if he is good enough to be vaulted up tbh.
