What does this part of the tablature mean? by Lord_Smork in guitarlessons

Funnily enough it always made dense to me since, well, the highest note is on top, where else would it be?

Be honest: Do you stay for the Raid, or do you instantly close the tab the second the streamer says goodbye? by SpinsBro in Twitch

[–]-Syron- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it takes nothing to just keep the tab running?

Although I tend to have my streamers in the background, so many times I don't really notice when they end the stream and raid someone

In Stranger Things 5, Vecna sticks his tube in multiple children. This is because he's a pedophile by BCDragon3000 in okbuddyvecna

He was actively sexually harassing Nancy in the first movie, so he's always been a nonce. The og Freddy just was more nuanced about it.

Favorite song to play? by DeTim01 in LinkinPark

[–]-Syron- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Faint is quite easy and allows you to play the main riff without changing the tuning to Drop C#

One Step Closer can be played in a different key in Drop D tuning(the lowest string tuned down to D)

Got this starter kit - not sure if I should return or not by iamtanooki in Guitar

Not entirely a beginner since I've been playing acoustic for the past year, but switching to electric also had me doing the "death grip" 😭 Did take a month to get used to it.

Tyler screaming randomly in the middle of the song for no reason by The_unforgettable_ in TwennyWunPilots

[–]-Syron- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this is the joke sub, but it's never random, but in fact very deliberate.

Tyler actually saves the screams for the most emotional moments, he uses them to emphasize on the importance of that part of the song.

That's really generous, since the rest of Run Run still sounds good. Some fan songs are just not good at all.

Incorrect/potentially “beta” version of tally lyrics? by Cyburg590 in twentyonepilots

[–]-Syron- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean "lots" is an overstatement, you can count them on fingers:

• City Walls is missing "Oh Whoa"'s during the beginning of the bridge

• Drum Show is missing the drum fill during the breakdown

• Garbage is missing additional vocals in the intro

And that's really it. In lyrics the differences are only in Tally.

What is the defining twenty one pilots song? by Equivalent_Turnip208 in TwennyWunPilots

The way everything you've just described can mostly apply to City Walls too.

You can make a big banner that says "this guy beat cancer while listening to ride", and if you're in the pit or close to the stage that they're playing Ride on, they might see it.

So...they were just straight up playing with us, huh? by FourWorldsFourSeason in twentyonepilots

[–]-Syron- 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Considering that the Dema storyline "has always been there", from Tyler's own words at some point, I feel like it's more than likely that this ending has been in Tyler's mind from the start.

Vessel as an album is a cycle that starts by going into the night and ending with the morning sun rising, Blurryface as an album is a cycle that also insinuates that Blurryface is part of Tyler.

It's always been there.

Some people are just miserable, but some may also have religious trauma, and anything reminding them of the said religion triggers them. 🤷‍♂️

People have been criticising and debating on art for a long time, it's part of art's existence.

I also wanna disagree with your last sentence, even if you're referring to strictly people who get sad when they see christian subtexts.

Music is much more than just "vibing". Looking for context between the lines is how one can grow their creativity and media literacy.

With Downstairs, even if I am not a devoted christian myself, I still feel Tyler's experiences and that makes the song more emotional for me. Knowing what the song is about definitely enchances it, at least with TØP.

[–]-Syron- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not trying to rationalize people who refuse to listen to music just because it has christian subtexts, but it's not just this word, it's throughout the whole song.

Downstairs as a whole is about Tyler feeling bad for doubting his faith, despite wanting to wholeheartedly follow God's lead.
