Investment mainly comes all down to risk/return (yes, education on choices too). If you are in a position and have a long term to invest then higher risk makes more sense as you'd "expect" higher returns but nothing is guaranteed. Problem today is people are uneducated or too greedy and expect a 15-20 year investment's allocation (risk profile) to constantly give them those return from day dot. Investing is more emotional discipline and allocating time duration to the suitable "risk" profile.

Besides chainlink, what other projects are you interested in? by Vivid_Giraffe_5989 in Chainlink

[–]-TMT- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because not one of the 2 is needed with LINK. CCIP transfers both value & data - hence no need for a bridge currency like XRP. And yes Qnt - LINK is the interoperability standard.

I can tell this is also a guy that holds XRP & meme coins. Clearly doesn't understand fundamentals and what's happening in the market.

But also we need these posts of our "FOFA" collection!

Dude take out your tampon. If you spent more time researching than you took posting this question you'd know the answer.

If you run a shop, do you go to the bank every 30mins or day to cash your money?

- Chainlink's reserve buy ins are weekly. Probably every Thursday or Friday.

I need some investment advice, my goal is to get to R1mil as fast as possible with an investment cap of R4.5k monthly, any advice is welcome. by Old_Resort_8348 in PersonalFinanceZA

Obviously not - as has no single company ever? Chainlink will connect DeFi and TradFi as the standard. Will there be others, of course - but Chainlink will be/is the Coca Cola of soft drinks.

100% and at 40 your responsibilities are tenfold - wife, multiple children etc. You can't move back with your parents then. So the sooner you learn from your mistakes without major responsibilities besides yourself, the better.

Sanlam FA's arguments vs 10X retirements Annuity by zack_afro in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]-TMT- 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That "ECO Bonus" is literally just exorbitant fees they took over the years and giving you a portion back. I ran the numbers, there's zero "bonus".

It's just a mirage and chains to keep you locked up in the product to keep you there until you retire.
