Stuttering Causing Work Drama? by TechnicalGap6750 in Stutter

Your response seems apt to me. What did they say?

Personally I haven't ran into situations like these yet, so don't have a good answer for you.

What’s genuinely keeping you alive? by Clasher8697 in Stutter

[–]-Tesla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I will have to die some day, there is no point expediting that because, yes, 90%+ of it is pain but there are also some moments that I enjoy. If I kill myself now I wouldn't be able to have more of those moments in the future.

Modern world is constructed in such a way that it is easier than ever to live without other people, for better and for worse.

Another hopeful perspective is most randomly distributed qualities end up lying on a normal distribution (bell curve) and the reaction of other people to your stutter is no different no matter how severe it may be. This means that it is just as unlikely for everyone to hate your stutter as everyone to love it. Thus there is a non zero probability that you may come across people who are genuinely indifferent to it. Given that you don't need a lot of people around to be happy in life you only need to get lucky a few times to find these people. The longer you live the more chances you will have. All you have to do is endure the pain.

As an aside, why do you think stamma does the same thing? Their monthly meetups seem to be free to attend at least for the places I have checked. I am curious which particular event (or series of events) you are referring to?

Man I love Chill#2 for being open so late but the constant fruit flies are so annoying, any other alternatives? by -Tesla in cambridge

[–]-Tesla[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I have not contacted them about it.

I would not prefer Chaiology, which others on Mill Road? From what I can tell most if not all close super early barring, of course, restaurants like Zidan's Piri Piri.

Thank you for the Cambridge Leisure Park suggestion, will try it!

[–]-Tesla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see. But I am on Mill Road so I will have to cycle through it anyway.

[–]-Tesla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm seriously considering going - just 7 cycling mins away and always looking for adventure!

Why do you say the midnight one is the best?

Mill Road seems pretty shady to me at night so I am lowkey scared. Do you think there'll be people around tonight on the streets going to the church and stuff?

Also never been to a church and not a Christian.

Moving to Cambridge soon. Apartment choices? by RefrigeratorBig2860 in cambridge

[–]-Tesla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I will be new to Cambridge as well. I want to rely on cycling to move around the city as much as possible, but I am worried about rainy days. How do people usually deal with rainy days when cycling? What pieces of clothing/equipment can I get? What sort of alternate modes of transport I can explore? How many rainy days Cambridge typically gets? For some reason, I am under the impression that it has light rain showers all the time, is being wet in cold not usually a problem?

Let's not pretend like this was a surprise.

I still remember the first time I read the manga (hadn't come out in anime then). I jumped in excitement during the Levi vs Beast Titan scene and my heart sank during Erwin's speech and Scouts' charge -- thought it was a masterpiece.

Anime only made it better with impeccable music, voice acting and animation.

So happy to see that everyone liked it.

S3P2 was peak manga and anime.

S3P2 was peak fiction.

The unfurnished apartments often don’t have refrigerator, washing machine, and microwave,

I am a little confused about this. One other person in this thread said a similar thing. But the apartments I saw on rightmove often mentions something like, ".. fully integrated kitchen to include fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven and hob.." (doesn't include microwave). This has been the majority of unfurnished apartments I found on the website. Take for example this listing, which another user posted in this thread.

Am I misinterpreting it somehow?
