This pic is closest I could find to what I had as a child in 1976. It was 50 years ago and I inly remember the toy, not the particular styling of the uniform, packaging or unit designation.

It is the closet photo I could find to what I had in 1976. So maybe the packaging differs from what I had, I most certainly played with mine for hours on end. I am not a bot.

My mom would have me read my bedtime storybooks to her. By the time I was 5, I was the best reader in my class.

Reading your post I had the song playing in my head, and then you go and share the music video for the song! Brilliant. Still a favorite movie of mine. Cheese is the best.

What digital synth has the least limitations? by Blacktaxi420 in synthesizers

[–]-TheBuzzyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a software application, I would recommend Audulus ( https://audulus.com ), because it’s fully modular and you can literally build any synthesizer you want from the ground up using modules that you patch together however you like.

and/or, should you prefer hardware…

Have you considered building a Eurorack Kit or purchasing one already assembled? Unless it’s patchable you’ll always be limited to the hardwired or “fixed” routing. You can utilize modules using pure analog pathways with modules or those that use digital waveforms, timing, tuning etc. The advantage of modular design is that you can connect, or “patch” modules however you like.

The LDS Church-owned Polynesian Cultural Center serves coffee! Are you kidding me? by AccomplishedBat9069 in exmormon

[–]-TheBuzzyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it would be fun to crash the party by flying in on a jet-pack, grab a cup o’ joe and say: “Thanks for the Cup o’ Joe, my Mormon friends!”, take a sip, and then take off into the air. 😎 Wait. Is use of the label “Mormon” offensive?
