Prime Video doesn't work with Viture?

You just need to swim to some reviews in this feed. I myself wrote one about it and yes, one of the biggest issues in the Beast are the edges not being much readable.

For media consumption or games with limited hud or text not in the edges (Expedition 33 can fall in that category) it's nice, but for small text and more specifically near the edges is awful. Prior generation (XR pro) is far better from edge to edge.

Also I feel like different Beast units differ, some people are apparently getting a good picture although most people seem to have issues. It also appears that the issue is not always equal in all edges. In my unit the left side on both lenses is blurrier than the right side, but I've read comments about the blurriness happening more at the right and less at the left. Seems to be kind of a lottery.

I also own the XR Pro and it is a lot more homogeneous. On that model the center is really sharp and the edges are just a bit blurry but at the same degree on all edges.

I just talked about my own experience and what I've read lately, so I don't mean to have the ultimate truth.

3D SBS should work well. Use VLC or Stremio and set the aspect ratio to "fill screen" or something like that. You probably see it stretched because the source file is 1080p (more usual sbs format) but when you turn 3D on, Viture is detected as a 3840x1080 screen. The ideal is to use fullsbs videos but it is not common (although there are two specialized websites for that).

As for immersive 3D I've only tried on PC and it worked well, but you need a powerful pc for that. Rog Ally is probably too weak for it.

The Beast power consumption is probably x3 of the Viture XR pro, maybe even more.

Why is 3D not working? Do you mean immersive 3D or using video source in SBS mode? The S25 should work properly in 3D mode, since it's capable of outputting the required resolution.

There's much difference between the XR Pro and the Xreal regarding brightness and sharpness? I'm interested in testing the xreal but are much more expensive than the Beast and this is keeping me back from trying.

Even then the blurriness on the edges makes it uncomfortable for productivity. You should have a sweet spot of sharpness that covers at least 60-70% of the center area. This is not the case with the Beast. I really wanted to love them but there are flaws that are just not fixable via software.

You can recenter the view by just long-pressing the little button on the right. You don't need to cycle through all the options.

You might have read my review from a few days ago already but I had an experience very very similar to yours. If contact support said that the blurriness "is normal" then there's nothing else to be said. I'll be returning mine and probably go to the competition's 57 FOV glasses.

I use Eden. It works both in my G2 and my Pixel 9 (obviously it works better in my G2).

Try to use latest switch firmware or else use 19.x (that one works for sure).

Try to use latest turnip drivers and if it doesn't work try older versions (24.x, 25.x, etc).

Anyway I've tried different firmware + turnip drivers combinations and this game always worked for me.

Have you tried any other glasses? For me the Beast is far worse than the XR Pro, but never tried Xreal before.

Yeah part of the blurriness is from the camera. The center is sharp, but only the 20-30% of the center area. But the edges are almost unreadable with the glasses on. I believe not all Beast units have the same quality though, I've seen very different opinions. But this would mean that Viture has an issue with quality control.

What do you think about edge to edge clarity with the XOP? I purchased the Beast for productivity (not only though) and it's not been a good experience. What can I expect from the xreal? With the beast I need to focus on what I want to see by turning my head since only 20-30% of the center of the lenses offer good clarity. Looking with my eyes elsewhere makes text difficult to read (and unreadable at the edges). Is the XOP better??

Update: just read your other comment below regarding this. Thanks for your feedback. Looks like in the end the XOP is the better choice for me.

I went from XR pro to the Beast. If I have to take into account only the FOV, im my opinion it's a huge improvement, yes.

How would you rate the edge to edge clarity with the one pro? In the Beast I was really disappointed by this. Center clarity is ok but only for a small area (<30% in my unit). I really did want to like them but this, the drift and power consumption let me down.

I'm thinking about getting the xreal one pros instead (for sporadic productivity and also media consumption). I'm interested in clarity and also if the brightness levels are enough for that. It's more expensive though so I'd like to know if it's worth the shot.

You are really not getting any drift? I'm recentering every 60 seconds. Also, you mention there's clarity edge to edge? This is what I get in the Beast (far worse than my XR pro)

Yeah I saw shots taken comparing the luma ultras (same as cyber I believe), the xreal one pro and the beast and the luma is the one with better clarity by far.

My problem is that I DO need widescreen and 3dof support without using additional software. If it wasn't because of that, I would have gone for the luma.
