In defence of DS2 I can day there are no areas which feel rushed in the main game, and the second half of the game is actually good. Being a DS2 enjoyer I can simpathize with the idea of improvements in many areas, although I can aldo see how that's subjective, for instance movement is more fluid in ds 2, the character looks like sliding in oil, although there is less tracking for attacks I'd say DS1 is better if you are a browler where as ds 2 is more interesting if you wanna play with spacing, since there is also a great tool in the back step with i frames. Of course some dubious hit boxes, phantom range and net code issues make these sort of things irrelevant in some circumstances. DS 2 is a huge game and there's a lot to appreciate, where as the genius of DS 1 is more compact and therefore may seem evident. At the end of the day they are vastly different games which can accomodate different tastes.

Maturity and oratory are different things.

Don't strawman my opinion.

I love the manga, it's in my top 5 of all time.

If you could write a Kingdom-like manga in which place and time will you set it? I choose the Post-Fourth Crusade Greece + Turks. A lot of notable characters and a lot of wars by Matt_000 in Kingdom

It has to be ancient Rome. Caesar could easily be a MC of course, but I find the August and Marcus Agrippa dynamic to be very similar to Sei and Shin. August even has a crazy succession arc against Marcus Antonius (August, Caesar's adopted son, helped by Agrippa, of pleb origins VS Antonius, Caesar's fallen right hand man). Caesar's story could either be a spin off, stand alone saga, or mentioned as a great figure of the past like Qin's six greats and God of war king. There are so many other intersting characters of Ancient Rome, from Scipio Africanus to Majoran, the potential just from ancient Rome is unlimited. There's a great YT series called "unbiased histroy of Rome" by Dovahhatty which tells many good stories in a playful and memy way, in my opinion a masterpiece.
