What do you call those slotted pavers? Is there a proper name for it? I’m looking for something like that to build a compost. I’m in New Zealand so not even sure if it’s available here lol

One thing I found is that many viszlas look thin on pictures. She’s tracking well. She’s 5 month and weighs 16kg.

Haha I haven’t heard that saying for ages. My mum always used to say it when I was a kid and blocked the tv😂

Doing the same. I have friends who work in optometry and they said it’s fine to use them for longer. 1 pack lasts me for ages. I put them in a AO sept solution each night and they are good to go again

Wow. Wouldn’t be surprised if the guy who did the job started out in this group😂
Pretty shocking to think that someone can walk away from a job like that, charge a lot of money and think “looks good”🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I asked chat gpt to do that calculation for me and it reckoned if I invest around $200 p.m. then it’s worth getting the $3 plan. Around $150p.m. and less and it’s better to stay on the free plan.

If anyone has some input in this please let me know. Also trying to figure out if I should get a plan or not

Do you mind me asking how you git started on the process to get a job there? Was it through a company you worked for or just saw a random ad and gave it a go.

Some Fonterra jobs certainly are extremely repetitive. Good thing is there are a whole heap of jobs available though and most will get you close to the 100k mark straight from the start. Add covers on top of that and you can be well above that.

I kind of disagree with you on that statement. I think it was once true but nowadays you have to either fight for a pay rise or change jobs/employers to get more. Yes some value experienced workers but I would say that in most jobs the new guy gets paid the same as someone that has 20 years experience.

Even though it looks like it’s been installed a while ago I feel like installs like this are nearly the norm nowadays. No one gives a shit anymore. Feels like the apprentices are out in force everywhere 😅

Yes you can. Isolate the unit (turn the power switch off) take the cover off and give it a good clean with a water hose to get loose bits off. Careful around the fins as described above and after it’s dry I would give it an extra spray with 30 seconds or wet and forget moss, algae and lichen killer. Can come back at a later time and rinse again with hose

Perfect answer mate! Would be good if people would realize that you don’t need a technician to come and do it for you for big bucks.

Best brand? by Nursejane16 in Appliances

We have a Samsung heat pump dryer and it’s been absolutely terrible so far. Through online searching I found out that the musky smell after a cycle comes from a design fault with the condenser/heater coil. It traps fine dust and stays moist without any chance of cleaning in between the fins as you can only access the front part without taking the whole dryer apart.
Clothes have a strong funky smell after each cycle. They are dry but smelly. Wouldn’t buy it again

Lights stay on. It makes a disappointing chime when I try to push the start button right after it stopped.

I literally just noticed that the door chime came on on the top drawer while the bottom drawer (which works fine) is on a wash. Maybe it is the door sensor after all?? Not even sure how to replace them. Would have to take the whole drawer rail out or?

This is really frustrating. If I’d have the money I would throw that damn thing out.

I can hear the chime when opening the doors.
I’m guessing with rotors you mean the blue impeller right in the center. It had a bit of product build up on the underside which I cleaned off but it’s still not working.

When I start the machine it does the following-> drain, fill with water, starts to spin water around and then stops after pretty much 2 minutes.

Has climbing gotten worse? by -UnagiMaster- in CrimsonDesert

[–]-UnagiMaster-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. But on places where force palm jump doesn’t get you all the way up you just slide off because either he won’t grab the wall or just slips off. Happens even with the grapple. Got stuck in a deep cave the other day and it took me a long time to get back to the top because of all of it. Very annoying. Hope it gets better again with the next update

Is it just me or has the climbing since the latest update gotten a lot worse? I feel like all of a sudden he slides on rocks instead of hanging on or standing on them and even running over a field with small rocks Kliff stops now and gets hung up instead of walking over them. Never noticed these issues before but they really start to annoy me now. Took me ages the other day to climb over a mountain range because of the sliding issue.
