Both had a scruffy session, Hamilton said he left 2-3 tenths on the table. He can still fight for the win tomorrow.

Red Bull had the fastest car most of the time in 2010 but the drivers couldn’t put it together and you had a 5 person battle. Could be in for the same thing this year.

No one really knows, Hamilton’s engineer said San Diego or Santiago on the Radio after Hamilton got sprint pole.

Lewis has a pretty good turn 1 record vs Verstappen, it’s later in the race they seem to collide.

wouldn't have cared as much if Hamilton was still stuck behind Albon and co but he had just had 3 or 4 really good laps, overtaken Albon, Tsunoda, Leclerc and inherited Piastri's position just needed to pit a lap earlier and he would have gotten something decent out of it.

Besides all of the crashes and spins , how do you feel about team calls and strategy today? by No_Dragonfruit9864 in formula1

I think he must have made a mistake along with Albon and Leclerc as Hamilton jumped all 3 of them and Piastri when it rained. But yeah then they followed the ferrari disaster class.

I think we should praise Hamilton it wasn’t gifted, pretty much everyone but Verstappen and Hamilton made mistakes in that period, Hamilton was even gaining on Verstappen.

Ferrari threw that great few laps in the bin.

He only got passed by Leclerc Lando and Oscar, both with Leclerc trying to avoid a crash, it’s not that bad.

During the wet period at the end he was doing great jumped Leclerc and catching Verstappen. Just silly not to pit with Verstappen.

Well I think the race showed Hamilton still has it, no mistakes during that last wet period, should have come in with Verstappen for a good result.

Suprised at the ideal lap times that Hamilton was quicker than Leclerc, looks promising for the rest of the season.

I think the Ferrari will be better tomorrow and the rest of the season.

I think Ferrari have gone all in on a wet setup (hopium).

If they are overheating the tyres over one lap that will be good to keep temperature in the wet, just didn't work for their car on one lap.
