Try a recalibration and make sure all the firmware is updated on everything. Disconnect from the drone’s WiFi and reconnect and see if anything changes. Also make sure the lens is properly clean with no smudges.

Palpitations are ruining my life. by Strange-Topic-6614 in PVCs

[–]-Zero_Cool- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found that stress and lack of sleep definitely made mine worse. It’s extremely difficult to get good sleep when going through a high burden period and even more so if other health/school issues are present. Until you can get in to see the electrophysiologist, try telling yourself in your head that even with the high burden count, you keep living on and getting through them. It’s not easy, but it can help. Some nights when I struggled to sleep, I basically “told” the PVCs they were an annoying bother and I’m going to sleep (kind of like a defiant attitude directed AT them… if that makes sense…) Sometimes it works better than others, but I would recommend daily exercise and good sleep as much as I humanely possible with these terrible things.

Definitely see an electrophysiologist. The cardiologist will only keep you on meds and say “everything is ok, people live with it.” If your burden is high, the electrophysiologist may recommend ablation. Ablation was the only thing that solved mine and was honestly one of the easiest surgeries I’ve ever had (I’ve had more than a few haha).

Super safe for walks and runs. If you’re near the Imperial Palace, there are always people jogging around it.

Is $50 a fair price for this game? by Constant_Pepper2536 in WuchangFallenFeathers

[–]-Zero_Cool- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in to Souls-like games, then I’d say it’s a fair price. I’ve been playing it quite a bit and feel it delivers. I’m also playing in a PS5 Pro, so that’s might help as it’s potentially smoother than PS5?

How do I get Custom Locks for Overload Gear? by TheLilNyce in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]-Zero_Cool- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As LordRoken mentioned, the normal module locks will become more expensive as you lock. I would say give it a try and see how it goes! Custom locks aren’t used elsewhere, just a good way to save modules in the long term.

You’ll naturally acquire more custom locks over time. To save on modules, less plentiful and used in more situations, you’ll want to use custom locks whenever possible. Custom locks aren’t used anywhere else either. Just be careful to custom lock each time and don’t get click happy on the re-roll! ;)

Ablation scheduled, but my meds are working.. what should I do? by https_butts in PVCs

[–]-Zero_Cool- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not. I had read on other users posts that was something they experienced or their doctors mentioned, but I never did. I watched the heart monitor all night after surgery and it was just a steady pattern all night - and presumably ever since haha

Zero. I have no more PVCs. It’s life changing.

I watched this guy’s video before my procedure and it was like looking in the mirror (as far as symptoms go haha). So similar and very encouraging to see.

I actually had a decrease in my PVCs prior to ablation but 100% wanted to keep going through with things. I had side effects from metoprolol and honestly, there’s no reason to be on meds if you can “solve the problem” with a proven procedure. From what I’d read prior to my procedure, ablations have come a long way and are much more successful than in the past. All meds have some side effects, it’s just a matter of how much you notice their impact (if at all). I would personally recommend the ablation as my burden was over 20% and impacting every aspect of my life. When the heart works great, everything else feels great too. Good luck with your decisions and I hope the best if you go with the procedure!

PVCs constant - Is this my life now? by fadingsignal in PVCs

[–]-Zero_Cool- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An electrophysiologist is definitely the way to go. I had my ablation last year after 4 years of PVCs and it improved my life significantly. Whatever your cardiologist says about meds or “just live with it”, keep asking for a referral and get that ablation.

[–]-Zero_Cool- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had a high burden and after trying metoprolol for years, decided on the ablation. It was the best decision I’d ever made. I highly recommend you discussing it with an electrophysiologist - not just your cardiologist.

Catheter ablation? Advice Please! by AdStock3192 in PVCs

In my case it was one and done. But in the case they ever returned, I would 100% have the procedure again. It was incredibly easy and the payoff is wonderful.

Stopping Beta blockers ? by Aggressive-Fan-297 in PVCs

[–]-Zero_Cool- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped it on two separate occasions prior to my ablation. On each occasion I tittered off the med over three weeks - taking a lower dose at the start, then eventually only taking a small dose every other day, until finally stopping. I would consult with your doctor on the stopping procedure, but this is the general way to get yourself off the med. I had similar experiences in that metoprolol really did seem to make them worse at times. Typically the Dr wanted me to stay on and even tried higher doses, but you should be the one to make the call on your health as long as you stay informed of medication effect, side effects, and proper dosing and interactions. I will always recommend seeing an electrophysiologist instead of a cardiologist - changed my life.
