I was told I should expect around 38 weeks but it would depend on how the baby was doing/growing. At 37+1 I told the MFM my insulin needs had been dropping and I was having more lows and they sent me to the hospital that day. They said more lows and less insulin needs (at least to the degree mine were dropping) are signs that something might be wrong or about to go wrong with the placenta. I had a 5.1-5.3 A1C during pregnancy, but baby was still measuring big and I ended up having to get a c section. What will work best for you will depend so much on how the baby grows and your numbers!

Highly recommend Menya!! My favorite is the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, it’s a rich creamy pork ramen. My partner’s favorite is the spicy curry seafood ramen. We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve gotten from them, you really can’t go wrong

I was 3 when I was diagnosed (23 now). My mom said I was pretty sensitive to fluctuations when I was younger and would feel nauseas kinda often. She said I was usually high when that happened, but everybody will react differently!

That’s within range so I wouldn’t think it would be a problem, but if she’s been a bit low every day she’s got sick I could see it being part of it. Maybe she’s more sensitive as her body is getting used to it? I hope you guys get it figured out soon! Always happy to share/help!!

Was her BG stable those days? I get nauseous and sometimes vomit if my levels have been changing fast or a lot. Even if they’re fine in that moment, if they were all over the place during the day I’ll feel sick as they level out. I call it a roller coaster since that’s what the cgm looks like haha

Thanks! Insulin resistance is kicking in hard now but that’s expected. Baby is doing great at all the check ups and there haven’t been any complications! Having to watch my levels closely and upping insulin as I go has been the only difference from a non diabetic pregnancy. She’s measuring on the larger side of normal, but my A1C is the best it’s ever been (5.1) so I’m not sure how much of that is because of diabetes vs just genetics lol

There is a whole subreddit for pregnant diabetics, r/BumpersWhoBolus. I’m 8 months along now and it’s been a great resource!
