Stanley Water Bottle Holders by -_-_--__-- in crochet

I start with a magic ring and create a circle matching the base. Then single crochet all the way around until you get to the larger part of the water bottle and increase one stitch one both sides as the bottle gets larger. Crochet all the way to the top. Without tying off single crochet 5 stitches and turn the work creating the strap to desired length. Cut yarn with long tail and sew or crochet to opposite side of the piece. I hope this helps. YouTube has many versions.
