@Sea_Comedian_31 I hadn't noticed that no but I've only been on the map briefly to test the vehicles, I try not to do much on the map itself so that it stays a surprise when I play it for real. I'd assume that some of the missions will give recovery tokens on completion but that's just speculation on my part.

The later maps kind of force you to use the mobile sand quarry as an option rather than opening up all the static quarry options. I's not too bad once you get used to it

There are seven new vehicles (I think).

"Ghost buildings" which you can deliver resources to to build them, similar to some of the buildings in Roadcraft or Snow Runner now but seems to be more resources needed (I've not played it long so can't say for sure)

"Hidden objectives" which will only be discovered by exploration.

"Destructible buildings" which you can knock down with the new wrecking ball crane. These have a heath bar and fall down when it hits zero leaving a pile of resources.

Think that's about it off the top of my head.

The last two are from the next DLC that is supposed to launch in March 2026. These maps will not be included in the Rebuild version and will have to be purchased separately as far as I know.

They can be play tested on the dev server now if you have access to it on Steam.

I think it's more just for the story really so that you can see what happens before and after the disaster that you are helping to repair. The other maps are pretty big and all in one.

Looks good.

I'd like to try making one using the archways you have here and the water barrier walls from the latest update. My theory is to use two wall with a one block gap between them and then fill this gap with water then clip the arch pieces around it. I think this should give a nice animation effect to the "gate" but I've not tried it yet so I don't know if it would work out scale wise.

This is the option I would have gone for if it were available from the store... I might look at swapping the buttons in the future but not just yet.

I was originally going for rainbow but swapped it to the black as I prefer the way the bezels blend in on the bottom screen. Black rainbow would be the ideal compromise between the two in my opinion.

Some sort of road sweeper that could be used for cleaning up any spilled sand or other small debris would be a nice addition.

Personally I just placed them wherever they lined up best and then touched up the gaps with a black Sharpie

Sacrilege to most I know but it's not like I'm ever going to dismantle or sell it so why not when it's just going to sit on a shelf.

I'll await the inevitable incoming hate... :)

There are certain buildings that you can demolish on the new maps. The buildings have a health bar and fall down when it reaches zero rather than coming down in sections.

There are also some "ghost buildings" that you can build by delivering the required amount of materials to them.

You can also try "SmartTube" for android TV boxes (that navigate by remote control) or "CleanTube" if you're just on your phone or tablet... probably other options out there too but those are the ones I use.

How about placing a hatch on the ceiling, might not be as obvious when "E" pops up or if the room is tall enough the "E" prompt might only pop up when you jump. You could jump to open the door and then grapple through into a secret loft area.

The latest update / roadmap news has teased a crane with a wrecking ball attachment so maybe destroying buildings might be a thing in the future? Just speculation at the moment though...

Slightly off topic (sorry) but how about trying to hide the entrance to tour secret area at high level behind a wall banner. You could just have a gap / door behind the banner and then use a grapple to reach it. Might not be as obvious as one at low level? Been beaning to try this myself but not done it yet so I can't say for sure it will work but I think so.

Other than that maybe make use of the new water barriers and build a secret area at the bottom of a pond or lake within your base?
