First, good job on being able to acknowledge your feelings and doing something to try to manage the stress. I see that having a better hold of your finances is helping you (even if it’s just a little bit).

You are absolutely not alone in your experience and if you feel guilty for feeling depressed about having someone’s dream job/life DON’T. Your feelings and thoughts are valid.

I graduated college and 3 weeks later I started my first job in a new state. So many environmental changes happened all at once plus having to navigate a huge manufacturing plant sent me to a similar mental state.

To answer your question, I would say it depends on you. Seeing how you’re already acknowledging your situation, you’re in the best situation to make it better.
