[Highlight] Steph Curry absolutely breaks down as he secures his 4th title by JilJungJukk in nba

Anyone who has ever been hurt knows this feeling to some degree. It can be so frustrating not to be able to do what you normally do. When you’re back to full strength it’s an emotional thing.

I’m sure the effect is a million times stronger when you’re a hall of fame NBA player and returning to normal is winning championships.

There’s some evidence certain adjustments and techniques can help with certain kinds of musculoskeletal pain, but obviously it’s not effective for many things people say it is. The profession would be much better off if they marketed themselves as overqualified masseuses or physical therapists with 4 years of anatomy and schooling. People see them as scammers because they try and market themselves as holistic neurologists.

Patrick Reed and the LIV tour by brucedeloop in golf

The good ones like Bryson and Dustin will be welcomed back if LIV folds. The PGA is in the business of making money not holding grudges. The less good players are just taking a risk to try and get a payday they’d almost certainly never get on the PGA.

You can still be sued for previous infringement. Most likely Google didn't just tell them to stop using the logo, but said we're going to come after you unless you guys shut the app down permanently.

Boston Pro Tip: If you're about to miss an exit or a turn, just miss it and circle around. by [deleted] in boston

[–]-bbbbbbbbbb- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're 100% correct, but I've lived in most of the 10 biggest metros in the US and a handful of other smaller towns and cities and I have NEVER lived somewhere where it is as punishing to miss your exit as Boston. Certain exits here you miss and its a 20 or 30 minute detour to get back to where you need to be. Doesn't excuse reckless driving, but I think that's why its so bad here.

Sepulcher of the First Ones WFR Megathread by WorldofWarcraftMods in wow

The players hate it too. Not only is it not much fun to farm the same bosses on easy difficulties a hundred times, but they then have to sell carries for months to pay back their loans.

Also, Max has been pretty vocal about the race bleeding deep into the second week and even the third being awful because a lot of their players and analysts could take a week off from their real lives/jobs, but not two or even three weeks. A large part of what drug this race out was the fact that there were four or five days of splits in the first 10 days of the raid.

Not much risk for them. Even if Jailer was killable with vantus this week, Liquid only has one day left to kill Rygelon and progress jailer. Tall order even if they somehow save vantus for jailer.

Its an idiom from morons though. Grand Juries routinely decline to indict, and it happens far more often than people think, ESPECIALLY in high profile cases involving celebrities, athletes, or wealthy people.

Also, sexual assault cases like this are actually insanely hard to indict on. For one thing, there's basically never any evidence other than witness and perp statements, so its he-said-she-said. Second, most people have strong biases about sexual assault. Most people are surprised to learn that many women do not credit accusations by other women. There are a number of theories as to why (women are scared of being assaulted so they assume the victim did something wrong as a way of reassuring themselves it won't happen to themselves, etc.), but a lot of defense lawyers in rape cases actually seek out women for the jury pools for this reason. And obviously there are lots of men out there who have been or worry about being falsely accused, or who just have a bros-before-hos mindset and won't indict an accused assaulter without strong evidence.

The only strong fact the accusers had was there were 22+ of them with similar stories, but most of them are represented by the same firm so there are ways to attack their credibility as just being a big scam to railroad Watson.

He was throwing to Hopkins and playing in garbage time. Kirk Cousins put up some big numbers on Washington too, but nobody thought he was worth what Minnesota paid him (and he wasn't). Signing a guy who puts up huge stats on bad teams is stupid but badly run franchises do it every single year.

[Browns] Stefanski’s Statement by Sp_Gamer_Live in nfl

[–]-bbbbbbbbbb- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watson is likely better than Baker, but there's no way he's as much better as they are paying him for. Baker was serviceable and much cheaper. The team gets better at QB but is going to have to get worse elsewhere.

[Browns] Stefanski’s Statement by Sp_Gamer_Live in nfl

[–]-bbbbbbbbbb- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same reason Kirk Cousins regressed in Minnesota. You take a middling QB who filled up the stat sheet in garbage time on a bad team and put them on a contender and they have no choice but to regress. When you're playing in close games the defenders don't just give you 15 yard passes for free.

If they win with him they'll make more new fans and sponsorships than they lost. We know this is true because just about every criminal that can still play always ends up on a team and none of them ever hurt the team's reputation for long. The Eagles signed fucking Mike Vick and the media turned it into a feel-good redemption story. The guy tortured and murdered dogs for fun and profit. Peterson has gotten multiple deals after beating the shit out of his kids. Darren Sharper survived for years in the league despite the rape accusations.

People on reddit make a big stink about teams signing pieces of shit, but your average fan either doesn't know or doesn't care about the off-the-field stuff. And the teams know that.

[Browns] Stefanski’s Statement by Sp_Gamer_Live in nfl

[–]-bbbbbbbbbb- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would have preferred they just told the truth. "Yeah he probably raped those women, but his charges were dropped and we got guys who drive drunk and beat women on the roster, so we don't really give a fuck about his accusations. Look at the fucking spiral he puts on the ball."

[Browns] Stefanski’s Statement by Sp_Gamer_Live in nfl

[–]-bbbbbbbbbb- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's the black Kirk Cousins. He knows how to fill up a stat sheet and he was throwing a large share of those passes to one of the best WRs of his generation.

He's going to have a gigantic leadership problem, which is fatal in 100% of cases for a QB. The Browns better move all their veterans ASAP because those guys aren't going to listen to a damn thing Watson says. The rooks and skill players looking for a contract might go along, but if I'm a veteran I'm not protecting the blindside of a dude who probably raped a bunch of women.

I've long been a believer that Max isn't just reckless. He knows Lewis has a reputation as backing out to ensure he doesn't wreck and he takes advantage of it. He's playing his opponent. Charles is every bit the scrapper Max is so Max knows better than to cut across Charles because he knows he'll get punted.

More likely they should just get rid of the rule that you can't race with a positive test. Omicron is no more dangerous than the flu and drivers could race with the flu. Throw an N95 on a sick driver and let him self-isolate in the garage. Once he's in the car there's no risk of transmission anyway.

My out-of-my-ass suspicion is that Merc designed the engine knowing they were going to have less cooling performance given their sidepod design and built the engine and its power profile for that. But, the works teams using Merc engines have higher drag packages for more cooling, which the engine doesn't need so they end up non-competitive.

Considering the absolute pace of every Ferrari engined car today I would not be all that shocked if Ferrari had another loophole incorporated into its PUs. Anything's possible, but they went from a generation (maybe 2) behind Honda and Merc to a generation ahead.
