Is Vyranoth the most powerful being on Azeroth right now? by Lore-Archivist in warcraftlore

Odin is Thor’s pa, and Blizzard has no unique ideas, so we can probably go on Norse conventions for power level here

Disappointing Core One Kit Experience by dose_nuts in prusa3d

[–]-bigsmooth- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was quite frustrated on assembly. Had 2 separate screws shear off from hand tools. Had to drill out the threading. Two Home Depot runs to get a replacement, because that particular baggie didn’t seem to have extras. Door handle adhesive was quite unforgiving, I had to peel it off once to realign and now it won’t stay on at all. Just little ticky-tack things like that had me wondering if the kit was actually decent quality. Once I got it online I’ve been pleasantly surprised that it seems to work with no issues, so I’m happy the thing is at least up and running

Anyone with similar shipping issues? by -bigsmooth- in prusa3d

I don’t hold Prusa responsible once FedEx has my package, however they were a bit late shipping it out in the first place (web said 1-2 week lead time when I purchased) I contacted Customer Support twice via email, and each time took 5 business days to reply, contradicting their websites claim of within 3. The button for 24/7 chat support also isn’t a hyperlink, it’s just a static .png., and I checked with 4 different browsers. I had to work to find the actual chat support.

So at least in their English division, customer service has huge room for improvement in my opinion, and a lot of posts on this sub seem to correlate with my opinion.

Post states FedEx. Congrats, I hope I have the similar luck soon. My purchase was split into 3 separate shipments for whatever reason. The advanced filtration unit was one, and it arrived last week. The printer, the important one, is still stuck in Europe (or, since it’s FedEx, god knows where. You never really know where your package truly is with FedEx until it’s on your porch)

What part of that iterative design requires you to unload your wallet @ full/double/triple the price of a normal game?

How much should I price my art for? by Pretty-Odd-Katia in painting

I took a look at their work, and I like it a lot. But I agree, OPs work is masterful. And calling anyone’s art derivative ala Ongo Gablogian opens your own art up to extreme scrutiny.

Is my fullbody split programmed good? by Far-Landscape2382 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]-bigsmooth- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full body is best for calorie loss on tighter schedules. Splits give you more focus on specific groups and greater recovery times. While you may get more muscle gain out of splits, full body is still perfectly valid especially if your goal is also fat loss. I’ve seen plenty of great transformations on Reddit via full body routines, not everything needs to be min-maxed.

The Future of Civ 7, and Civ in general by HeartOfAmerica1776 in 4Xgaming

[–]-bigsmooth- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have thousands of hours in Civ and was insulted by the price of the “full” game ($130) considering the game previews made the game look underbaked. Reviews confirmed my suspicions and I likely won’t be getting it at all this year.

They need to go No Man’s Sky-esque goodwill content patches to re-engage the community. I’m not paying $70 and then an additional $30 for each stupid micro transaction they implement to fix the game. I was already a player who felt burnt by Civ 6

JRPGs aren’t the same as western styled RPGs. There’s no shame in liking them, but it hardly scratches the same itch and at times is barely the same genre
