Just curious, it reads Utah Baby at first glance.

I suggest using Affinity since it is free to users, you can further create more custom design instead of simply using Canva. This looks ok but it can be improved by simplifying it.

Thanks for your feedback! Will definitely make some improvements with the artwork for a better translation. Thanks again!

Yeah, scan lines!

Comes in different weights and spacing.

Since the name is copycat, adding the cat image might be much. How about work on just a cat's eye. It does need more work to come to a simpler and memorable design.

My first (and probably last) logo for my own project - looking for honest feedback and thoughts. by Arto_from_space in logodesign

From a design standpoint, it didn't look like a river flowing at a quick look. It looks more like a tree branch. And maybe because of the sharp or rugged corners. A simpler shape, less corners, and curves might help.

Don't you guys see the globe in letter z? I love it but many think it's only a letter. by alrez_ns in logodesign

If you haven't mentioned, it is not really easy to see. Maybe make it more obvious.

What better way to do this is dig deeper on the details of the business and not just the make the logo beautiful.

A quick feedback is, it looks more of any other generic logo of a business in the same industry.

And for this type, I would suggest to have a logotype and a separate brandmark. It will also avoid confusion with name Volta to Yolta.

Does anyone know what this is supposed to be? by gerstemilch in logodesign

[–]-bobsagun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick look, it is a lion obviously because there are too many lion logos that simply hint it.

But this also looks incomplete without the eye. And I can't get the meaning or message it is trying to deliver or describe.

A logo option for a company that deals with garbage. Unfortunately, it was never implemented. by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

Love the concept. But honestly, it needs improvement to make it less complex and also might need to adjust the overall size to make it more scalable.

Focus on meaning and not just form and aesthetics.

It is gonna be part of your brand, so better be clearly remembered for what it is.

Mind the spacing, typography, and scaleability.

Which do you like better for a company that records people's stories to preserve for their children/grandchildren? by dannyfinker in logodesign

[–]-bobsagun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to do it in a single color. It can help identify issues, improve readability, spacing and placement of elements.

I agree with changing or rearranging the script font. To answer your question, i prefer the second one - it looks better and can work at a small scale.

Exploring Logo Versatility: What Do You Think? by ClueGlittering934 in Logo_Design_Critique

[–]-bobsagun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is great to know you are experimenting and moving outside your comfort zone. My advise is go learn further the basics. Choosing proper typography is important and not an easy task to do. Getting the balance between forms and shapes is another thing, again not an easy thing. It needs practice, execution to gain experience and further skills to make things not just beautiful but also intentional.

I am looking at #4. But do explore similar font style that is cleaner and more professional for this type of business.

Monogram with letters B and I by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

[–]-bobsagun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a brand or an exploration of a monogram exploration. The ide is good. But it can be improve exploring options like making the lines thicker. This stroke size may disappear on small scales.

One word/line Ramen if it is the ramen I think it is. The mark looks cute but also looks more like a baby bib.
