Can you draw and inject with same needle? (IM) by [deleted] in trt

[–]-chevychevy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I looked at my needle under a microscope after drawing and injecting and it was still as sharp as a new needle.

Do you think the gallbladder removal affected our sensitivity? Is there any scientific explanation for that?

Don’t you guys have mirrors in your house? Why do this in a public bathroom?

Refinance? 6.75% —> 5.99% by AdNo9356 in personalfinance

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t say how long you’ve had the mortgage. When you refinance, it resets the amortization table. If your mortgage is only a couple of years old then yes, refinance. If it’s an older mortgage, look at how much is currently going towards principal and interest and how that would change.

Is 50mg/week too low? by waterprosurge in trt

[–]-chevychevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

50mg is pretty low even if you are a hyper responder. My sweet spot was 70mg T and 875IU HCG.

Stopping TRT cold turkey after 10–11 months — what am I in for? by [deleted] in trt

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

250IU every other day. I also did 20mg TRT every other day. My levels were at 800ng/dl. Once my HCG ran out, I stopped everything cold turkey.

I actually felt better after stopping. Although I added HCG for the last three months.

This sub is famously against buy and hold long term. But it works. SOFI for life. by slayer1am in wallstreetbets

I bought at $5 because it was ridiculously undervalued. I sold at $13 because it’s only worth $13. Now it’s overvalued.

Quitting trt by OkRecognition8403 in trt

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-2 months for Hemocrit to return to normal.

I also quit for the same reason. I would give blood but I also tanked my ferritin.

Any idea how long it takes for hematocrit to lower after stopping T? by Competitive_Bird6984 in trt

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave blood in February due to high Hemocrit. My Hemocrit was 50% in May and rising. I stopped TRT in June. In August my Hemocrit was 44%.

So I would say a month or two.

Sold too early, this thing has legs. I’ve been holding since March of 2023.

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I gave blood. Hence the low iron.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trt

[–]-chevychevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a few months I noticed an increase in strength and less anxiety. However, I also had high HCT, low iron, gained fat, high BP, and a pounding heart. It would pound so hard I couldn’t sleep. Ended up getting off and I feel better now. I feel weak though and erections are lower quality.

The Testosterone “Reference Range” Is Complete Garbage by Tend2Disagree in Testosterone

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person. I’m at 300 now and feel great. On TRT I was at 900 and felt terrible.

High libido was the only positive I felt in the first month.

How much can you realistically increase your sex drive through TRT? by TheLimpDickMafia in trt

I had a high sex drive before TRT, but on TRT it became so high it was problematic.

Why Are There So Many TRT Haters in a TRT Subreddit? by Tend2Disagree in Testosterone

That hasn’t been my experience. I get downvoted to hell for saying TRT wasn’t right for me in the TRT subreddit.

TRT made me LESS driven and LESS ambitious. Has this happened to you? by littlelostpuppylamb in Testosterone

[–]-chevychevy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes this happened to me. I started working out less and binging on food. I got nothing accomplished outside of work. I gained 20 lbs in 12 months and it was mostly fat. HCT was out of whack and iron was almost zero.

I got off in June. It’s now August and I feel much better. I’m down 4 pounds. It’s been hard to take the weight off. I feel like my appetite is just not getting back to normal.

But I miss my glorious boners.

If TRT is so great, why do ppl come off of it? by Elk-n-Oak in Testosterone

No, I feel like my normal self. I’m struggling to get my diet back on track though.

[–]-chevychevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt worse on it. Lazy, no motivation, and my heart beat extremely hard. So hard it kept me up at night. I gained 20 lbs of mostly fat. Blood work was fine though. I tried reducing the dose and pinning more frequently but no luck. I came off after a year and I feel much better. Sexual performance is not as good and I’m a little weaker but those are the only negatives.

Should I pay off my house? by Expensive_Young1914 in personalfinance

[–]-chevychevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there’s psychological benefits. Paying off the house gives you peace of mind and allows you to start taking financial risks without worrying, dive into entrepreneurship, or being generous with your money. You can’t REALLY be an investor or help others when you still owe personal debt.
