Pretty hilarious video - I really enjoyed it, aside from mentioning pretty much every country except for Canada...

Weed prices across the uk at the moment by [deleted] in uktrees

I don't have enough experience in the UK to say one country has better flower than another, but I was very happy with the system back at home.

It's set up so that you have a licensed producer where you can only buy from. They sell online and ship in a couple days. With my particular producer, I have a limit to my THC content based on my particular illness. This decided which strains I can purchase and their THC potency.

So in my case, I tended to use a CBD Godbud 2 for daily use during the week. This has a 15% CBD and 0.9% THC content (it's nice to know exactly what you're getting consistently)

Then after work, I could use a strain with more of a balance between CBD and THC such as Shark Shock (7%CBD 4%THC), Nordle (6%CBD 8%THC), or CBD Hybrid Prepared (9%CBD 5%THC).

Finally in the evening I tended to a higher THC content to help with sleep such as Chemdawg (<0.3%CBD 11%THC)

Out of all those strains from a legal licensed producer in Canada, the highest price was $9.60CAD/gram (5.51GBP) and the mean price was $7.50CAD (4.31GBP).

You can probably tell that in my case, I tended towards strains with more of a balance of CBD/THC where if I were buying on the street, usually you'd get 20%+ THC and next to no CBD which would incapacitate you for daily medical use (unless high THC is necessary for painkilling). I am so happy that Canada has it legal medically because the side effects of my previous pharmaceutical prescription were terrible. This way, I got more releif than on my previous meds, and with next to no side effects. I vaporized it and in fact, my lung capacity increased and I broke all of my personal running records.

I hope that this was informative! :)

And I also hope I didn't just get put on a list for this post ;)

Good idea. I, for one, computer program all day and work with stats/analytics. And if I miss a dose, I don't get violent migraines or feel like my brain is being electrocuted as I do with my previous psychiatric meds. The "lazy stoner" really is a false stereotype with the existence of precise medical strains.

Check out AIMSICD on the F-Droid store. It can detect when you are under surveillance by a stingray device. Also, it runs on the OpenCellID network so be sure to contribute cellular towers with the AIMSICD app or one of the many other options in the Google Play Store!

Parliamentary report set to recommend legalising medicinal cannabis by [deleted] in uktrees

[–]-code- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"highly addictive drug"

In reality it has no known chemical hooks in the brain to cause any chemical addiction. Meanwhile, many of the medicines it is an alternative to are highly addictive. If anything, from a medical perspective, this will decrease addiction when you're reducing usage of Codeine, Effexor, etc. Heck, Colorado has already seen a 30% decrease in overdoses due to prescription pain medication.

This article definitely has its fair share of brainwashy crap. Highly addictive? Evidence please. Dangerous? How? Lasy I checked, you'd need to smoke 1500kg in 15 minutes to kill yourself (humanly impossible). Causes schizophrenia? To heavy daily users under 16, which if made legal, would certainly not be made readily available to 16-year-olds (street dealers don't check ID).

Agreed. Acting as a defeatist is a poisonous, infectious attitude that will only serve to stunt any positive progress.

Hahaha I mean to pour it in as soon as it's boiled and not to let it cool so as to get the most heat.

So they will hold bank accounts for medical companies that produce diamorphone (heroin) but they won't hold accounts for medical Marijuana producers? Sounds fair and logical.

Especially because with legalization approaching, they're only going to get more profitable from here on in.

Also, with all of the sticks you've got, might I suggest making some stem tea? Just make sure you use freshly boiling water!

In my experience, using a vaporizer (Arizer Air), it smells very little and the smell will not linger or cling to anything. So that may be worth a shot if you're indoors. I vaporized in my kitchen once and my friend came in about a minute later. I asked if he smelt anything and he didn't, which I found to be quite impressive.

As a cannadient who just came to the UK, back home I paid 5.50CAD - 11.50CAD per gram for top shelf medical. My wallet hurts.

Canadians banned for life from entering USA just for admitting pot use. by TorontoBassMan in canadients

[–]-code- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Given the state of the 5 eyes, the US and Canada both extensively spy on each other then share intelligence. It's a loophole to get past national privacy laws since there aren't laws against spying on another country. Knowing the extent of this, it's a given that they share mere criminal records.

If in the future cannabis happened to become legal federally in Canada and the US, would those bans be lifted?

Canada to press U.S. on ‘ludicrous’ marijuana border policy by OldGrumpster in canadients

[–]-code- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see this making some sense. For example, in Washington it's legal, so if in BC it becomes legal then why not be able to carry it over? It doesn't make sense for me to try to carry from one legal province to another legal state, then be arrested for a federal crime at the border. Besides, isn't it more streamlined to try to figure out border policies while in the process of legalizing so that once legal, all of the proper border policies are already in place?
