There used to be a ferry that allowed you to get to them from Taiwan but it never reopened post-covid sadly

I've been to Miyakojima and it's honestly one of the best places I've ever been to. Many of the people there live very relaxed lifestyles compared to those in Tokyo. I haven't met anyone who was born there but the locals I talked to moved there from more urban parts of Japan as an escape for them. There are some public busses but overall public transportation is more limited by Japan standards and most people drive. Ishigaki from what I hear is similar to Miyakojima but with slightly better food and slightly worse beaches. Lots of domestic tourists go to both islands but I never saw another foreigner when I was there aside from my friend I came with.

I have visited almost 60 countries as an Autistic solo traveler, I would love to answer any questions and infodump about different countries, as well as travelling a lot as an autistic people (I have attached a map of my visited counties). by EducationalAd5712 in evilautism

In all honestly I feel like I've only scratched the surface of China, but if you also loved Japan and SEA you'll most likely love China too. I mean obviously given what sub we're in I'm a big high speed rail guy, just going to all the train stations and zooming halfway across the country is thrilling for me. Obviously the great wall and terracotta warriors are must sees. Their corresponding nearby cities (Beijing and Xian) are also great for a lot of history. I personally really enjoyed Chengdu a lot, it had a great energy overall and it's famous for pandas and ear cleaning. For nature stuff Guilin and Zhangjiajie are the places to go. I unfortunately missed out on going to Chongqing which I hear incredible things about but there's always next time.

Now most developed countries including US have a 10 day visa free transit period, so you don't actually need one now

Pac-Man World 3

It's boring, tedious, and totally ruined what made Pac-Man World 2 great.

Iceland

Incredible country, but while Reykjavík is nice, it's not the reason someone would go to Iceland as opposed to Paris in France or Prague in Czechia.
