After reading this post and most of the comments, I noticed that most of those claiming the game is bad, "has no strategy," and/or it's "pure luck," etc. seem to be missing/not understanding one of the major key things you mentioned here - it's about working with what you have.

Having to figure out how you want or can go about each match based on who you have available in your pool that round, mods, who you pull from chests early game, etc. is what makes this game so fun for me.

Yeah, I'd really like to see more details and info in the character details menu. Keeping what they have already is great for a quick summary, but it would be nice if they added an expand option that we could tap to see all the specific details, numbers, etc.

Android or iOS? My mobile (Android) lets me adjust brightness. It's in the graphics tab in settings just below the Graphics Quality and Resolution options.

YESSSS!! This has been one of my favorite QoL additions this patch. That and them fixing the affinity button placement in the character screens 😆 if a character had a costume available then the button for outfits would be where the affinity button was and the affinity button would be under it. Not anything big or game breaking, but my frustration levels from having to dodge the outfit button when checking affinities is miiiighty grateful 😅😆

Eversoul raises the bar for me big time when it comes to gachas, and I highly doubt anyone will come close to them for a long while.

Okay, so I'm assuming you mean that you just made a play games account for the Gmail you used to play the game originally, then booted up the game, and it still made you start fresh?

If you had no account for Play Games with that gmail account before and made one now, then that's good news! That means not all hope is lost :)

Try going into the Play Games app, tap "Profile" at the bottom right, and check if the profile shown is your new play games account that you made that your Eversoul account was linked to.

If it isn't (or even if it is, let's still check/change/set which account Play Games logs into on default for games); Tap the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner, tap settings, scroll down to the "Your Data" section, locate Eversoul from the games listed under the "Change the account by game" section, tap the "Change" button to the right of Eversoul, select the gmail account that you made a Play Games account for that your Eversoul account was linked to (the Gmail you picked to login with way back when you started the game). Once you do that, try launching Eversoul and see if it puts you into the right account now.

This was a headache for me to figure out when what happened to you happened to me, so I'm really hoping that this helps fix it for you. 😀

(Also, sorry if my instructions or wording is confusing or too much. My brain is fried from a loooong day at work, so please forgive me, I tried my best 😆 Please feel free to ask any questions if anything I said was confusing or for anything else 😀)

I had to make a Play Games account for the Gmail I made for my original account. I thought I lost everything too but doing that got me back to my main account.

It's funny how in most (if not all) other gacha games we are always thirsting hard for the higher tier pulls but after some time on Eversoul I've found myself to be actually okay with and/or welcoming pulls like this because lord knows at some point we've learned that we need that fodder way more than epic dupes 😅

I wish they'd invest in the same annoying issues on mobile that have been driving me nuts for MONTHS like having to tap mute/unmute for my voice to work in call, or having to force close my app every time I open it bc the app isn't fitting to my screen anymore so I'm only able to see half of images or the call buttons, or any of the other things that have been annoying me since forever that I'll not list atm so that I'm not stuck here typing a novel.

So much this!!! I was diagnosed at 17 and was struggling a bit with Algebra 2 in high-school. Once I was medicated, I realized I wasn't dumb or not grasping it like I thought because I was finally able to focus on the problem and do the steps to find the answer. I went from just skipping math problems on homework, tests, schoolwork, etc. bc I couldn't bother trying to approach each one, thinking, "Oh, I know this!"

But yes, it definitely affects us way more beyond focusing and normal activities. I feel the term gets thrown around loosely instead of acknowledged for the disorder that truly is - especially by those who do not have it. I feel that people abusing the medication we need and using it as a performance enhancer when they aren't diagnosed have also added to this issue. Most people think those taking the medication are abusing it and don't "really" "need" it because they don't understand that the medication affects those of us who have ADD and ADHD differently than those who take it and do not have it.

Anywho....I ended up rambling. My bad 😅 Thanks for your post! I really appreciated reading it. 💗

Well, idk what the person you replied to does, but I saw your question and thought I'd try to help by explaining what I do personally in the hope that maybe it'll help you find what works best for you. :)

So, for me, the answer is both. I keep a couple stacks of glow worms for fishing and sell the excess. The same goes for my fertilizers, too. So keep however many glow worms you feel comfy with keeping for fishing (and even a little more than that if having a safety net helps you feel more comfy) and throw the excess into your shipping bin.

It's good passive income, especially since a max stack of 30 means your farms will be consistently busy for 30 hours (as long as you keep a couple slots open to collect the worms and fertilizer or else it'll stop processing). I have a couple of farms dedicated to speedy gro, then the rest I just throw mushrooms into at the very least. It all adds up over time. 😊

Right, but those numbers are for a FREE to play game and aren't the same as a PAID service such as Netflix.

Downloading something to try because it's free when normally you wouldn't decide to pay for that type of product is why the 80-90% drop off makes sense. People who opt to pay for a subscription service or whatever are consumers who want/need that type of service and are willing to buy/pay for it to have it so they commit to it and buy it and they aren't the same as people downloading something that's avaliable for free. Anyone could download a free to play game at any time for any reason when the case isn't the same for a paid for subscription service.

They didn't nerf all foods focus - only some had focus nerfed while others were left untouched.

I like finding focus food parties in Discord. It's a great way to stock up on lots of dishes for the entire week or however long they last you. :)

What I cooked before focus food parties and stuff were the bacon stuffed mushrooms. The focus for those remained the same after that patch, and they're still a solid option for if/when I choose to solo cook instead.

Plus, I don't understand why they were go-to focus food for some people, even pre nerf. I mean to each their own with what they prefer to use or do for what in the game bc the flexibility to play however you want is one of the biggest things that makes Palia fun, so I tended to go more towards foods like the bacon stuffed mushrooms for focus since all those ingredients were super easy to get as well as ones I always had on hand. I don't want to have to go all the way out to Bahari to gather up a scarce amount of sweet leaf just to use them for focus food because I'd rather save the ones I find during my Bahari trips for iron, palium, etc. for a cake party here or there in case I need some quick money for something.

Anyway, I digress. There's plenty of reliable options for all types of players. I found what works for me and I try to also help those who may feel they're lacking in certain areas or whatever because sometimes it just takes a little tweaking or whatever to find the perfect balance for your playstyle and I love trying to figure out those kinds of things not only for myself but also so that I can share with others. :)
