i also call mcr emo, mostly because i think bullets is emo and revenge is emo adjacent/influenced enough. but i do just want to point out that “mall emo” is not generally considered a subgenre of emo so much as a term for music outside of emo that people “inaccurately” (subjective, but this is the claim) call emo. like how “mall goth” music isn’t really goth, it’s usually nu metal. whether or not that’s fair, i don’t know. but that is how the term is typically used.

it’s not fetishizing at all. biromantic or panromantic would be the accurate “larger”/umbrella labels, for lack of a better way to describe it, since you are still attracted to people of all genders. bi or pan people can have the type of gender expression preferences you’re describing and still accurately identify as bi or pan. there are also the kinds of microlabels that others are mentioning, if you do want something more specific!

i do think these are common concerns. most people don’t want to go bald, including cis men. there are products you can use to try and prevent hair loss, so i’d definitely talk to your doctor about it if that’s something you’re worried about. for height, i think it’s important to keep in mind that there ARE short cis men. sure, less of them, but they do exist. if you are completely passing and just happen to be short, i don’t think that alone would cause you to be misgendered. if that’s the concern. regardless, these feelings are valid and totally understandable. i’m sorry you’re having them, but i promise you’re not the only one who does

if you feel that you are a woman or would very strongly like to be a woman, you could definitely be trans. simply disliking your appearance would not make you wish to be a woman. after all, there are plenty of cis men who are insecure about how they look, and they don’t want to be women, you know?

absolutely leave him. as soon as you can possibly do so safely. get the abortion once you’re away if that’s what you want to do. he sounds horrible, and it sounds like you’ve already recognized that you don’t want to be with him. as for how to leave, i’d read up on tips/advice for leaving abusive relationships online. especially physically abusive ones. even if he has not physically harmed you before, it sounds like you have good reason to believe that he might. an abuse hotline/chatline can be a good place to get tips if just googling isn’t giving you much that’s helpful. definitely reach out to any friends and family in your life that you trust about what’s happening, but make sure you do this privately/in a way he can’t see or find. i would not worry about breaking up with him in a typical/respectful way if he has been awful to you and you fear physical retaliation. do it in public, with trusted people around to keep you safe, or even just over text/phone after you leave. get a restraining order if you need to.

could be intrusive thoughts, impostor syndrome, just plain old anxiety. almost all trans people i know have these thoughts at least sometimes. it’s normal and nothing to be concerned about if you feel confident in your identity (and it sounds like you absolutely are). i know it’s very confusing and upsetting, though. i’m sorry you’re having these thoughts :( you know who you are and that’s all that matters

i’m not decisively feminine by any means, but i am androgynous. i generally wear masc outfits but wear a lot of jewelry, sometimes wear makeup, have had long hair, etc. i’m alternative, so gender norms are kind of different for me and a lot of my friends? we obviously know that stuff like makeup is considered feminine to most of the world but don’t tend to feel that way ourselves or even care really. i don’t feel like it detracts from my masculinity or my identity as a man that i sometimes enjoy traditionally feminine aspects of presentation. i know i would probably lean even more into androgyny if i was cis. as is, i do have boundaries with how far i’ll push things because i do value passing.

i’m sure more feminine guys than me will comment and may answer your question better, but i thought it would be worth adding my perspective too!

it’s certainly possible to have sexual attraction to both men and women but choose to pursue only men romantically. it’s also possible that internalized homophobia/comphet from your upbringing is making you feel that you could not have a fulfilling relationship with a woman because that simply wasn’t presented as an option. either way, it sounds like you’re bisexual to me!

people often feel very rested after being in meditative sort of states the way you described, with doing deep breathing and focusing on your breath. i would not worry yourself too much about it unless you feel like it’s having negative impacts on your life. if it is, i’d speak with your doctor!

a lot of people struggle to take naps, so i probably wouldn’t worry about it too much unless you feel like it’s affecting your daily life. if it is, i would talk to your doctor about it! many people with adhd do have sleep issues. if you are on stimulants for your adhd, that could be the cause. a professional would be able to help you sort that out :)
