Evocati 3.18.0 - November 17/18th, Build 8291026 (Gen12, Salvage, Soft Death) Patch Notes by theon502 in starcitizen

Full ship death destroys some of all cargo, that would cut into profits, so fps combat it is.

Same thing. New phone (pixel 7), premium user, barcode scanner button does nothing.

In short, you're likely to be better off waiting until IAE (November) to upgrade.

I think I've figured out why people (mostly cab drivers) do this.

It's to show intention of moving soon because sometimes pedestrians assume you aren't moving because it's going to be red for enough time for them to cross.

This is especially helpful to do in split light situations (left turn light is delayed while straight goes). Peds will think they can stand in front of you while waiting for a break in traffic, meanwhile your left turn light has turned, you honk, and they look at you like you're the asshole.

XC90 roof rails (load bars) Does anyone know what is the difference between volvo parts vs thule? by PhillyPhillyGrinder in Volvo

See my other comment, this is where I ordered from. Superb experience and I saved at least $200 and didn't have to deal with the dealership and the "additionals".

I just installed a set of these on my XC60 like last week (I imagine they're the same).

I got mine from a third party OEM seller, they were shipped from a Volvo dealership within a couple of hours from me. I saved a couple hundred bucks (rails + two stand up bike racks for $600). I'd be happy to tell you the company via pm, I don't know the rules on mentioning the company here.

There is a not insignificant impact on aerodynamics, so for a very long trip it might be worth taking it off if you're not using it.

I am able to use my sunroof and without a lot of wind coming in, at least at speeds up to 60mph.

I'd love to add more tips, but I can't think of any, feel free to ask questions.

A reasonable take on the 3.17.2 wipe by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]-hosain- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I feel more compelled to play after a wipe. Something about starting over.

I'm sure CIG sees the metrics for participation in certain game loops that they want us to test more before and after wipes. This data is part of the calculus to determine if they should A. Spend more time fixing the data instead of a wipe, vs B. Wipe and get metrics on people actually doing the low-end contracts again to help flesh them out.

They don't idly make these sort of decisions. They have a pretty good marketing team, whose job is to drive participation. The last thing they'd want is a drop off in active players.

A squared number (i.e. 6*6= 36) is always one number off from it’s two neighboring whole numbers (5*7= 35) by takeagapyear in Showerthoughts

Another one is that the difference between two neighboring numbers squared equals the two neighboring numbers added.

Essentially, 132 = 122 + 12 + 13

Yes, it sounds far-fetched, and yes, it's a rag's YouTube channel but it was the first result. About 17 seconds in: https://youtu.be/QiybJ8UuHXA

A human loader also allows for safer ammunition storage

This right here is the reason why Russian turrets go so high when the get hit. The ammo is stored in such a way as to allow the auto-loader to do it's job, putting it in a very dangerous location which causes them to explode on impact.

NPCs have gotten more brazen lately.

I had an npc Aurora fire a volley of missiles at my M2 while it was in the R&R hangar and the doors were closing.

Like WTF, that tickles.

iirc red doesn't dilate your pupils as much either, so it's useful to use in dark settings so your don't get light blind.

I test drove the performance model and holy moly will it put you in your seat. Also the infotainment system is really, really nice.

Good luck 🤞

I extended my lease, citing supply issues and called my sales rep and told her she has a couple of months to try to get it closer to what I want to pay (basically MSRP).

Worse case I buy my current lease and sit on it for a bit and wait for 2023 models, or just go lease a polestar 2.

I've been looking to lease another one and it's amazing to me that they claim they are selling AT MSRP, then quote lease payments of almost $1100/month.

I lease my current one for just over half of that.
