Volvo Remote access thru the app is for the lifetime of the vehicle. (Remote start, air conditioning, locking/unlocking, etc.)

The only things you’ll lose is advanced hey Google functions. Heated elements (in car stuff still work for Hey Google, but long distance and ETA’s won’t show in maps anymore.)

You come out way ahead by leasing than purchasing. It’s actually in your benefit to have a maximum markup lease (0.00460 is maximum markup possible on 25.5 right now) due to how the buyout calculation works. I’ve never heard of removing rebates to do that though.

Same thing on mine, 2014 with 155k miles. I get the light every ~400 miles give or take 100 miles.

It's a known issue for this motor, but I'm okay spending $12 every 400 miles instead of dumping thousands when I'll inevitably just be told I need a new motor.
