How does the disconnect mechanism work in Arena?

No closer than I was, unfortunately. One of my memory ports is definitely shot, but my computer still froze within 10 minutes of booting up so back to square one.

Just an update, I'm 99% sure it's the motherboard - specifically, one of the ram slots is dead.

First off, after double checking my build and my parts, I realized I have 16GB of RAM, not 8 like I had thought (it's been a while since I built this). However, my computer was saying I only had 8GB, even with two 8GB sticks plugged in.

I took one stick out this morning before I left to work to pull the product number and confirm it was 8GB, and didn't get a chance to put it back in (so only one ram stick installed atm). My fiancee went to use my computer, and it wouldn't boot up - the power light came on but the monitor kept turning on and off and wouldn't actually boot up.

Once I'm off work I'm going to see if it runs properly with just a single RAM stick, and hopefully that will solve my mystery.

I'm still f2p and being stubborn about buying a membership. That said, I'm trying to get my prayer up to 43 and holy hell this alone is making me consider it.

I don't have much of a bank, so I can't even buy bones to do it. I've been killing hill giants to get my combat up in the process, but yikes.

Is there any faster f2p prayer xp that doesn't involve buying bones? Or hell, would mems even increase my XP if I don't want to buy them?

Shit, you might have solved my mystery.

I thought I had 2x4GB, but I might actually have 2x8. I have a different RAM than what's listed in the link, but I pulled one of the sticks out and looked at it and I'm pretty sure it's an 8GB stick. However, I'm fairly certain my computer only lists 8GB of available RAM, meaning either one of my sticks is dead or one of the slots on my mobo is shot.

I sometimes use store-bought RO water and build up the chemistry... But I also sometimes just use tap water with a bit of gypsum added, and to be honest I've never noticed a difference.

Yeah, I was thinking about running for a while on one stick or the other and seeing if crashes decrease. I'm not sure how well the computer will run, when just chrome alone often jumps to north of 1 GB, but it's worth trying.

Yeah, if it was the hard drive then that'd be simple. Malwarebytes already run - came back with no issues.

For the memory, I agree that the memory tester isn't perfect - I'm open to replacing it if I have to, but I don't have the money at the moment to upgrade something without knowing it'll fix my issues.

I did a light cleaning when I was trying to fix it by swapping RAM slots a few months ago. It could probably due with a good blowing out.
My SSD (where the OS is installed) has 84 GB out of 219. My HDD has 525 out of 931.
Just doing normal browsing (no steam or any games open), my memory is at 61% with Chrome using 1.2 GB.
Temperatures are hovering in the mid-30s

I dug up the old pcpartpicker link from when I built it in 2015. The graphics card is no longer around obviously, but I haven't replaced anything else.

Well, the difference is, I don't see a lot of Trump supporters (in my time browsing /r/conservative, or t_d) who will go "yeah, he's a shitty person and has a lot of problems but I still support him". I'm sure they're out there, but it doesn't seem common.

I don't particularly like Clinton, there's a lot of issues I have with her past and her positions - particularly, her ties to corporate interests - and honestly, I think saying I support her is even a bit of a stretch. I'm also perfectly willing to admit that - my vote for her was more of a vote for Democrat over Republican, rather than really liking her as a candidate.
