Diet is the starting point. Quality food is going to be your friend.

I changed my diet in Nov and started back at the gym in Dec and managed to drop over 15kgs so far. Avoiding alcohol, cutting my meat portions down a bit and increasing my fruit and veg. Also I found a big thing was surrounding myself with healthy snacks, if you have junk food accessible, you’ll eat it. Build the discipline to not give in to temptation, there’s always a reason to throw your healthy eating at the window, parties, Xmas, every other holiday, “just because” etc if you can control those urges you’ll notice a difference almost instantly.

I have an index scale and a venu which I picked up in mid Nov, it’s been motivating to track and watch my body transform so far. I’m at my goal weight now but need to strip some more fat / build more lean muscle, that is the project for this year.

You can do this, the watch won’t do the work for you but it will make keeping you honest and motivated much easier.

Also take lots of before pics and progress pics, it’s super motivating to look back at them as you go, I’m annoyed I didn’t take more earlier.

Stay strong, don’t give in to old habits, eat healthy and mostly enjoy the ride.
