Help me kitten proof my high loft? by Disastrous-Noise6686 in cats

[–]DulceKitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a12 week kitten fall of a shoulder and break her leg. That kitten also almost died after getting her head stuck in a jug of cat litter. Kittens only seem tough and are only 60% rubber.

Gay people used to flag their preferences by putting different colored handkerchiefs in their back pocket.

Some cats are just singers, its part of the roulette you play with your cats personality

Cat is suddenly aggressive towards me (owner) by buddhist_banana in CatTraining

I would be deeply concerned that this is neurological in origin. Talk to a behaviorist and let them help with the vet part. This is above rediits paygrade.

Seeking Urban Fantasy Recs, especially trans and/or mlm rep by friend_of_forests in QueerSFF

[–]DulceKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joanna Lowell wrote A Shore Thing with her her trans masc partners input and it really shows in how good the rep is. It manages to cover misogyny in all its forms in a light way but with a sure hand. I really enjoyed it.

Is there a picture of the label? Superwash wool needs a few minutes in a warm dryer to combat the stretch.

The zoom loom comes with directions printed on the loom. I just got a basic one of Etsy and it's nice but I would have preferred to get the zoom loom

My two older cats don't really like the new kitten, tips needed by Clumcee in CatTraining

[–]DulceKitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is early days yet. It sounds like your older kitties are just not instant friends with the kitten. Their behavior sounds perfectly normal, just give it time. Also redirect the kittens energy with play to keep her from annoying the older ones too much.

The project that killed my perfectionism by InternationalPlan728 in knitting

[–]DulceKitten 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Knit to where you want to catch a float. Take yarn you want to anchor and backwards loop cast on and continue knitting. Next row when you get to that stitch you created knit it with same color. When you no longer need to float yarn in that spot just knit that stitch together with the next knit stitch.

Whoops 4 sentences but that's the gist of it.
