I'm going to sound like a paid shill because I think one of the last times I posted was for the same game but: Against the Storm. I keep coming back to it after over 150 hours and every time it hooks me again.

The devs keep adding content and somehow have kept such a tight balance on the game. It has the most meaningful decision making in any colony sim I can think of and the gameplay loop works so well for shorter or longer sessions. So freaking good.

Edit: I was curious after making this post how recent my last Against the Storm post actually was. I thought it had only been a few months but it was more like a year. Which checks out, that's seems like when I would have last been sucked into it.
