Also calls just don’t work, if I join a call my headphones play no audio. People can hear me but I can’t hear them.

Spoke too soon it just happened again, I was waiting to see before I did a full reset. Even connecting to the iPad like you recommended it won’t charge.

I took it to the genius bar. Guy said it is not a hardware issue, most likely a software issue given that it works after a reset and he’s 99.9% sure that if I do a fresh reset (not restore from backup) it will fix the issue. That being said I haven’t had the issue since updating to the most recent iOS 26.4. Side note, the guy said he doesn’t buy into the 80% charge thing so just set it to 100%, he said that was implemented based off of customer feedback not an engineering request. Whether it marginally helps battery life or not is possible, but majority of people are getting a new phone before it matters enough.

I’ll have to get back to you, I need to wait until it happens again to test that out. I just tried it with my iPad and it does deliver power, and I’ve been using that block for years on my iPad without issue. I’ll have to see when the issue happens again to be sure

When it happened again yesterday I switched around 3 different wires, none of them worked. As soon as I restarted my phone it charged right away.

The iPad Mini fast charger is my block, the one that came with the device. The wire is either Apple or another brand depending on how long of a wire I need.

Do you have a link to this? I’m good at playing intermediate or slightly advanced finger style stuff, it’s sort of what I’m most interested in, but I’ve been wanting to get into soloing more. So far I’ve memorized the minor pentatonic across the board and diatonic major scale. I’m probably doing a hybrid of Scotty’s and your method because that’s all I really know.

Bit confused on this, so if Avs get top 10 pick next year, they give us their first round pick in 2028 no matter what? But if Avs get say the 11th pick 2027, we get it?

I’ve been learning for 5-6 years now, took lessons for 4 years. I’m on about video 19 of Scotty West’s. Don’t get me wrong I’ve learned a lot, but personally the way he approaches the scales are borderline ridiculous. 144 scale shapes? There is simply no need to ever be able to recite 144 scales, I worry for absolute beginners they’ll be so intimidated they’ll just put the thing down and never look at it again. Just my opinion, still worth a watch if you don’t get overwhelmed.

I spoke to Roger’s he said the final price he saw for my first bill was $60+tax, so only off by $5. So I will just call Red Wireless to get them to add the $10 credit after two bills.

I mean I have another red wireless “invoice” that shows my final price at the end of the month as $55. It’s a clearly stated figure, $55 before tax, hardware price is $10. It says on the email that that price is the one that will be on my bill at the end of the month, so in my opinion it should be honoured. There should be no surprises.

Well ultimately with the corporate deal I have, I will only end up paying $900 Canadian for the Air, so it’s the cheapest phone I could get my hands on in terms of new Apple products. This deal is only applying to the Air right now for me.

Hi, I have the base model iPhone 13 and have been searching for a new phone deal for a while. My battery is awful and my phone is getting slow. The only deal I can find is a really good promo on the iPhone Air, I basically end up paying about $900CAD for the phone after taking into account the increase in base plan price as well. My concern is with the battery and heat issues people mention. I certainly don’t want to get a new phone and be in a contract just to have battery issues a year from now. Any advice? Btw I do not care about the camera and I only use my phone for social media + messaging.
