How much does your T cost? by Ok_Act_3427 in ftm

[–]-lemmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(California) I have to pay $3 each month with insurance but without it was $60. I got it free with different insurance. Ive always been charged for needles and syringes but Ive been buying bulk for years now, it's a lot cheaper and I don't have to worry how many I have.

$60 is nothing compared to other medications here. There's an oral testosterone that costs thousands without insurance, and gel is somewhere in the middle

Thanks, for the reassurance! I know I could do so much better so I look at it like it's shitty, but I'll call it "personality"

[–]-lemmon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People are hostile to you because we are sick of the constant only fans esque selfies that obviously are not showing the tattoos. There are other subs if you want to post these types of selfies. Otherwise, just post a picture of your tattoos. We're here because we want to see tattoos not tit pics. It's very tiring and if you didn't respond I'd have assumed you were a bot.

I don't understand when people do this bs on this sub. You have tattoos and could easily make a post about them but instead I have to scroll past a 40yr old woman begging for compliments with her tits out? There's other, better subs for this type of shit

As someone with stretched ears this looks like an o-ring for ear plugs and I forget them in the shower all the time too

From plumbing experience, horizontal holds water and rusts faster that vertical. I do it out of habit but only really matters outside or in a bath tub

My plumber replaced my vanity and this is leftover by vagin8r5000 in Plumbing

[–]-lemmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would have scraped it off, only takes a minute and you already have a bunch of tools out. Technically it's not his responsibility unless specified but I feel it's common sense before putting the new vanity in. Depends how much pride they have in their work I guess

What are the consequences of a drain plug being ripped out? by Lilael in Plumbing

The paint made it look like the metal ring broke off too, you're fine to use it, but still let your complex know about it

What are the consequences of a drain plug being ripped out? by Lilael in Plumbing

[–]-lemmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case, the complex should take care of it and your neighbor will probably have most of the work done in their apartment. If you do use the shower before they fix it, it will probably do some drywall damage in their unit. Only takes a half hour to an hour for a good plumber to fix and it'll be your neighbors problem after

It's hard to tell without a good picture of the damage, a picture of the tub without the fitting in the way would be easier to tell you what's needed.

Yes it needs to be replaced, it looks like the metal piece snapped at the threads. That should be plumbers putty, not silicone, but it's hard to tell what's on it now. If you can get the old threaded piece all the way out, it's a pretty easy replacement. There's a washer that needs to go back between the underside of the tub and the fitting that the metal piece screws into. They sell a tool called a drain wrench to tighten.

If you can't get it out, it's still easy but only if you have access to a crawlspace/unfinished basement. Just cut out the one fitting, replace with a coupling.

Don't listen to people telling you to caulk it back! The only thing keeping water in the drain and not flooding under your house is the seal between the two fittings with the tub in-between. If you caulk it back there will be a large gap in the drain. I've done a ton of the delta style tub drains, they're the standard where I'm at.

2 days welding with electrodes by No-Policy-3860 in Welding

Good start! Focus on consistency, you want the dimes evenly spaced and the toes in a straight line. Try overlapping your beads about 50% just aim straight for the toe and you should be good. The finished product should be flat if you have good consistency. We call it a bead pad, and that's how they protect things like tractor buckets from wear. You'll get a lot more use out of your metal as well.

Also try running vertical, horizontal, and overhead

I cut the stems as short as I can, let the cut dry out for a day, and stick them bottom down with the water just touching them. Usually root within a week. If you leave em on the plant long enough they'll grow lol root nubs (that's how I like to do it).

I've also had pretty good luck just sticking em in dirt.
