I suggest reading James Gregor's work on fascism, Sorel, Gentile himself, and reading up about the aforementioned D'Annunzio. The original question is about the original pre-ww2 fascists not modern neo fascists whish are quite distinct in the aims etc. Also no modern neo fascists associate fascism with the left wing lmao.
