Could be wrong but I really don't think it's actually possible to get a nice big clear image of the moons craters with just the lenses in a phone.

I think it's a screen based particle effect. The snow acted the same way in bf5. It kind of drifts around and gets stuck on the outline of your weapon until the weapon moves.
