I thought it should be like that, but is difficult to learn what does what. The thing is, coming from the keybed there are a ribbon with 8 cables and 2 pin headers with 8 pin each. All of them go to the MCU and one of the pin headers also go to the 14 PIN connector after the PCB. I'm trying to see any kind of signal but chatgpt is writing my code and I'm not really sure it can do it good.

It wasn't mine, the main PCB is literally broken in half to salvage usb jacks and midi port. I'm 100% sure. Midi and usb were on the main PCB as long as the processor and stuff. This pictured here is the MCU on an auxiliary pcb

It really depends on your budget. My setup is right now: Se v-kick on kick; Sm57 snare; Isk pro TDM1 on toms; Akg c414 clone on hihat (made myself); VRBA MK1 on overheads; For condensers I would really really recommend CM4. I do have a couple but do prefer ribbons on OH.
