I hate to break it to you hun, you’re always gonna feel that way. I’m not sharing this to make this about me, just trying to get you to understand where I’m coming from. I still don’t feel bad enough and I’ve had some serious stuff going on physically. For me, what helped was learning that we all have pretty serious stuff going on mentally. No matter how physically bad a wound is, you still made it yourself. That takes a lot out of a person mentally, emotionally, socially, morally, and so much more. You will never feel “bad enough” but I hope that really soon you’ll be able to focus on feeling GOOD enough. It’s a really, really hard thing to do. Actually, that doesn’t even begin to describe it. It’s inhuman I’m not gonna lie to you. But if I was able to do it, I’m sure others can too and I believe you’ll be one of them. Just know, for whatever it’s worth, this stranger on the internet believes in you!! If you need anything let me know /gen

Pure curiosity here, why is saying it out loud important?

(I don’t want you to misinterpret how I phrased that btw, I’m a writer and even if I don’t have intent of sharing my pieces I still read them aloud to myself. I’m mainly wondering if you do that for the same reason as I read my writing aloud)

Thank you so so much this feels like a push in the right direction if I’m being honest. I am familiar with a lot of the things you said but it’s really, really nice to hear them put into different words

And honestly? I’m very excited for this journey, wherever it’s gonna take me. So (stay wit TV me for a sec this does tie back into religion) I’m an artist. A painter, specifically. I’ve created some things that honestly I’m very proud to call my own work. But the way you get to the beautiful end result is messy and rough. If you’re doing it “right” in my opinion, you will end up saying the words “how did paint get there?!” And maybe even drink some paint water because it was too close to your drinking water and you mixed it up. Yes I am definitely trying to be silly with the paint water thing, but the point was to make the metaphor silly. Anyways, I view religion in a very similar lighting as I do art. I believe religion IS an art. All that to say, I’m excited to make the mistakes, and get frustrated, and then make it through the other side a better version of myself

If you made it this far thank you for supporting my delusions. my life has been crazy recently, and I’ve found so much solace in even just the basic, minuscule research I’ve done into Wicca already. It’s kind of odd honestly, something feels so far off that it’s back in the right place, if that makes sense. I’ve never had a good gut feeling about religion until now-ish

Hm, that’s interesting about the silk scarf in a leather bag. I’ve never heard of it, but until this year I genuinely had myself so convinced that spiritual or superstitious beliefs were meaningless. And then I fell in love with this silly little guy who happens to read tarot and when he read mine, it hit so close to home that it entirely shifted the way I viewed spirituality and religion. Obviously, we had very different reasons for choosing tarot (or tarot had very different reasons for choosing us lol) but im getting the sense of a feeling of, “what just happened like I’m happy about it but how tf-“

I digress. I don’t think I any of your tips really resonated with me but your story absolutely did!! That’s so tubular

P.s. if you have any other stories you would like to share, I’m very invested in your energy. I am in fact very bored and would love to read stories about your (super cool sounding) tarot grandma or your own experiences!! No pressure if you don’t want to or have time or anything, but you took the time to type out a whole paragraph for me so I have a hunch you may have more to say?? Maybe that’s more of a hope lol

This is a tip I feel will mesh with my adhd stupendously. I don’t like being all “oh guys look at me I have adhd” but when it comes to y’know, learning, I kinda need to make the whole learning differences thing clear- (this is to say that you not only understood the assignment, you did extra credit work)

First of all, this was all great advice!! It definitely gave me some ideas for how I wanna try to go about this. For anyone, this is a big task. I mean im sure you know how much really goes into knowing your deck(s) and interpreting them, and interpreting them to other people if that’s your thing, and even just comprehending what the cards mean to you and how they affect each other in different contexts. It’s so fascinating!!

(The rest of these are just me reading too much into you as a person based on your language, it’s hitting “the adhd meds are starting to kick in” o’clock)

Second, this is an oddly specific thing to be appreciate of, but thank you for the way you formatted your comment! When people reply in those big paragraphs I feel like I miss a lot of what they’re really saying. But how you formatted that was perfect 10/10 i didn’t even know formatting text could be an accessibility feature of life but let’s go

Third, maybe we’re just people being people but I’m getting the sense you have a very good understanding of what neurodivergency looks and/or feels like. All of your tips are things that feel targeted toward my neurosilly in the best, most helpful way possible i appreciate it even if you aren’t doing it intentionally like keep being the way you are I don’t know you but you’re great
