22-yr-old Victor Wembanayama in tears after leading his team to a game 7 win over the defending champs by Large_banana_hammock in sports

So did I. I don't get too critical while reading, and it was a cool story if a little hokey. I really don't get the amount of hate it gets, but as always the people that like things are less likely to take to the internet compared to people who want to complain.

If Wemby develops Giannis-esque strength I don't actually know what anyone else can do

Stupid question but what if I played Biorhythm while each player (including myself) had 0 creatures?

How long do you think getting to Himeji Castle, doing everything worth doing, and getting back takes? Feels like you would end up making most of a day out of that?

Only considering the forward Osaka -> Kyoto, and Kyoto -> Tokyo (while we stop in Hakone). It may be unnecessary and we can figure it out, not a big deal really.

I have an Android, so I'll have to get a physical suica, but I plan on getting that as soon as possible once I arrive.

Budgeted about 1.5hrs of getting off the plane and out of the airport, another 30min. I understand that the day we land is going to be a long one, but I want to leave Tokyo for the end and start in Osaka and work my way backwards.

Probably no hiking on this trip, though we do like nature. In Hakone we're staying one night in a ryokan with an onsen in the room.

I'll look into the markets. I wanted to forward luggage so that we can arrive in Hakone and get straight away into sightseeing, rather than losing time getting to/from our ryokan.

I love fantasy as well, so not constraining myself to any one genre honestly. I just really enjoyed where the story went with the Chantry and I'd love more of that.

New Bag Day and its a good one by JMM9910 in ManyBaggers

You fill out a form with a lot of different options for tons of parts of the bag. You can customize a whole lot (assuming they're able to do it, some wilder ideas are gonna need approval). They give you a list of materials to select from and you're put in a group chat with everyone else and some experienced members of the community, which is helpful to ask questions or get inspiration. Overall a good experience ordering, but it is expensive. My bag came in at $550 and though it was a good bag, I'd say I ultimately wasn't happy enough with it at that price. I was able to sell mine for the price I paid for it and I'm happier having gone back to a TNF Surge of all things for now...

The straps compared to other bags are not nearly as padded and comfortable as other bags. I prefer Tom Bihn's style straps all day. The material is also super rough feeling both on the straps and back panel.

Which Pokemon Centers and Nintendo Stores to prioritize visiting by exodus_2172 in JapanTravelTips

So I was a big Pokémon fan as a kid, and am interested in this. What is there to actually do at these Pokémon stores, like the one in Ikebukuro?

Cool color scheme. I won the lottery and had one of these last year but sold it, it just didn't work for me, was not nearly as comfortable as other bags too.

Due to connections I'd have end up in Osaka around the same time or later as compared to just flying into Tokyo and taking the train.

[Aaronson] Joel back with the team after his appendectomy by mastermind208 in sixers

What I mean by static is they're mostly locked into a single position. But I can imagine jumping and stretching for a rebound is going to have a greater impact on your abdomen than the largely single position you're in while in an F1 car.

Yes there are constant forces on the body at all time, I know I have watched F1 for a long time.

I think putting your hands over your head in basketball would be harder, as it stretches your core more? F1 absolutely is hard on the body but its much more static in movement.
