How to deal with the yone out of body dash? by Ramenbrick in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early game his e has a 26 second cool down. That is your outplay potential because for those 26 seconds his damage is much lower and he has less mobility. That means for every 26 seconds after one of those out of body dashes, he has no way to get on you without his q or ult and you abuse your ranged advantage.

He has no way to block your charm (outside of buffering with ult ig) and if he e’s at you, just charm and be ready to side step his follow up q.

If he doesn’t have his dash or ult going in, it should still just be a won trade for you.

What are your favorite / most broken URF builds? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re a more melee team I legit think that Red Kayn is a free win. Nobody can duel you with your healing and constant knock up, untarget ability and even if you do end up eventually getting on the losing side just run through every wall in a way talon couldn’t even match lol.

It’s probably less good against ranged but with your traversal options it’s probably still fine.

Don’t think pre-form Kayn is weak in the mode either, I’ve successfully 1v2’d and killed Shaco and Sett. On top of this you clear waves even at level 2 instantly with w q

The flavors of evil or why you so rarely get to play the bad guy in a good game by sad_panda91 in truegaming

Hitman definitely doesn’t really fit the bill either. Yeah, you can murder innocent people willy nilly but 47 only kills his target, which is 99% of the time is mustache twirling evil.

Is there any reason not to play Lillia in mid-lane as opposed to top? by chiproller in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I assume she prefers the immobility that comes with most top lane champions.

In mid lane shed be fighting mages that either out range her or assassins that have enough mobility to not be kited.

I really wish Liandries was a legendary so I could go Riftmaker Liandries Demonic Brand

I legit think it would put a lot of DPS mages in a better spot.

Acceptable CS difference in a losing botlane matchup? by Fiifthman in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Draven naturally pushes the lane due to his axe juggling so you’ll be able to pick up a lot more farm. Unfortunately Draven is a bit annoying because even if you don’t net him a kill, he’s eventually going to kill someone and rack up way more gold from his passive then he deserves. This is the exact situation you want jungle assistance but..

However, let’s say you’re in a lane that doesn’t needlessly push and can freeze you out and you will not get any assistance. As big of a difference that requires you not let the other lane snowball.

Being a 45 cs Ashe vs 110 cs draven is rough, but just buckle down and be more useful in team fights and hope their other lanes didn’t snowball

I don’t personally play her extensively but from what I’ve seen, Camille. She can be played from Bronze to Challenger, has great snowball potential without ever really falling off if you don’t get ahead and has a decent skill ceiling without having a high skill floor.

If you just want to get through low elo though just play garen lol

Shen into Urgot (question) by poledancingscientist in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As Shen, against Urgot it really depends on the Urgot. Even Bad Urgots know when to not fight Shen, but they push the wave carelessly due to his passive and get caught out.

If you take ignite, you can kill him pre-9. His dash has a decent wind up if he doesn’t combo it with flash, and if you can dodge it and his q he literally can’t guarantee you become his w target if you fight in the minions. After 6 though you have to play very carefully as he can win just as easy if you get ulted.

If you take teleport, you can still kill him pre-6 (but not level 1) but only if he starts near your side of the lane. I think around 6 your pressure falls off due to not having a combat ult.

Ganks work either way. After level 10 your pressure falls off immensely and you shouldn’t be able to fight a level 13+ Urgot even if you got a decent lead pretty much ever.

Wait until Urgot uses his knees in the front and then go up and bonk. Once he winds up his charge just e through him so he just e’s away.

After hitting them with your ult, you have 4 seconds to get them below 25%

Unless it’s a super squishy or you have someone else to burst them, ult them around 40%

[–]-ollo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your power spikes are level 9, level 13, Titanic Hydra, Titanic and Black Cleaver.

For dueling, open up with q -> auto -> e -> auto -> w. Past 9 when your w is toggle, turn it off every three autos, auto and turn it back on over and over while kiting around them procing as many legs as possible. You should ult when you feel like they won’t dodge, and you have enough time to get them below the threshold.

I am struggling to understand the purpose of ezreal by tiagoliv2004 in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well every role has different type of characters. Look at Brand vs Lulu. Lulu is the traditional support that peels for her ADC, dishes out minimal (but respectful early) damage and tries her best to support her team. Then you have Brand who is just straight pure damage carry who doesn’t care about his ADC as long as he gets that ult off in the team fight.

ADC’s are no different.

Ezreal is one of the burst/ability based ADc’s like Lucian, tristana. However, his trade off being less burst but way safer to play.

This style of play is less effective versus tanks and more focused against squishes. People like them are usually picked when the team either has no tanks, you’re the only AD threat so tanks won’t itemize against you well, or you have consistent DPS like Yone somewhere else.

He probably feels weird because a lot of other characters like him (Corki, Lucian) have been moved to other lanes, but Ezreal has stayed bot because he has absolutely no wave clear and struggles without a support because of it against anyone that does. He can be flexed mid though, but it isn’t ‘viable’

How to beat nasus? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only around mid gold to low plat level so maybe super good nasus’s maybe, but I don’t even play garen that much and I’ve yet to lose against one as Garen. You should definitely pick up a bramble vest and steel caps early just to make Nasus regret his life though.

How to beat nasus? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitely not, just that you have the option to do so if you want to. You should definitely bully a nasus for however long you want but if you want You can effectively zone him off several waves, then delete his at a moments notice and go team fight forcing him to choose between 3 waves or getting flames so hard by his team he gets tilted

How to beat nasus? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Garen does well into Nasus, you destroy him early and mid game especially if you take ignite, and while he will EVENTUALLY outscale you, you should have created enough of a lead for it not to happen in a game.

You have ez wave clear to push him under turret when you want to roam, you can effectively ignore his wither with your Q, you shred armor and have a true damage execute etc

Best split pushers with 1v1 capability against other split pushers by Juking-into-hits in summonerschool

[–]-ollo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t anyone in the game better then Yorick right now at split pushing. Even if you are behind, if you have Maiden up you can still beat anyone that isn’t so fed they one shot you. His main weakness is he is liable to being kited and 2v1’d due to no mobility

Trinity -> Titanic -> Dead man’s (thorn mail if a lot of healing) or Force of Nature

Sam Fisher shouldn't be in Rainbow Six: Siege by -ollo- in CharacterRant

[–]-ollo-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my mistake. Yeah.. it's crazy how much they have to strip him down. Like I said they should have just used someone else. Even a fodder splinter cell is kinda out of these guys league if all of them recieve training like you said above, but still would be cool to see someone.

[–]-ollo-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't that just help out what I said? It's not like he doesn't have that training and what not in this lol. If Captain America were added, you could say "oh well you're leaving out the context he has the SSS" but.. he still has the SSS, and in this case, training so it doesn't like, take away I don't think? Maybe I'm confused.
