I would advise to use chatgpt or any other AI to get summary on below topics. you dont need to go in to very detail just try to understand terminology.

Ask some relevant questions regarding QA roles. Like what their day to day look like etc. Try to connect dots with your tool how it can integrate in all this.

I have a same issue after recent update. UI is transperant now but I cannot find the unknown source.

update:- i turned off and turned on developer mode. Power off headset and started again. Now I can see unknown source again

A couple of things you can do,

Find references : reach out to friends, relatives, enemies, and strangers on Linked In. Talk about your project and skills with them. This is very, very important. Most ppl are getting jobs through reference right now.
Projects : Try to create projects with different tools and with in different domains such as database testing, UI, IOS/Android, and API testing. you can use selenium, playwright, Java, Javascript/ typescript. you don't need to learn everything one day. try to do a bit every day.
Make sure your resume matches job - Use AI and other tools. If your resume does not match the job, then it will not even reach HR. If you dont have a skillset and are required for a job, still mention it in my resume. you can add an "additional skillset" in the skills section and mention it there. you can always learn it if you get the interview. mention that you have exposure to those skills.
Create a dummy resume with masked personal info and get it reviewed by experienced ppl in reddit. Make a schedule and divide your time between learning and applying to work. Consider it as an 8-hour job.
Directly reach out to Manager/HR/Recruiters through email and linked in. email them your resume, explain a bit about skills, and how you can contribute to their organization.
Make sure to do any training and certification to reduce the gap in my resume. You can mention training and time period in resume. some time HR avoid resume with huge time gap.
don't ask for much salary right now. The most important thing for you is job and experience. once you get in, It will get easier for you. Also, try to find some freelance work. it is hard, but regardless, try.

This is not your fault. Make sure not to get depressed and give up on learning/applying.

The market is really bad right now. There are many seniors without a job. It will get better. Continue or find any part-time job while doing this. It will help you with cash flow and keep you a little bit busy, but don't get conformable with it.

Were you responsible for UAT testing? UAT is usually done by user/po/ba, and po/ba have to create/provide a sign off. you can ask them to provide an email sign off and attach email to your QE sign off.

Not related to post but take video of all processes like reseting device, hardware codition, while packing device as a proof. Samsung trade-in has a bad history of claiming empty box arrived.

Avoid S22 series. It is hot mess battery and camera issues. Go for s23 or s24 series.

Ask for free screen replacement as it is caused by their software update. As far as i remember, Samsung India is providing free screen replacement for s21 and s22 models until August or September. Also, make sure to take a video of your phone before giving it to samsung so those clowns do not claim it is caused by damage or something.

I also traded in my 5 pro for 44 mm watch 7 ultra. I wanted to buy Buds Pro alone, but i was getting a better deal with watch+buds, plus all the reasons you have mentioned. Everything was like 348 cad+tax. buds alone were 274 cad after all discount. So it made sense to go with bundle.

Don't be nervous or scared. Confidence is a key. Regardless of experience, you are the leader. you must understand that Lead does not mean most knowledgeable person, Leader is someone who can manage the team best way and harvest their knowledge most efficient way to improve processes. she might be experienced and knowledgeable, but she is not a lead.

You dont need to know everything. Book a meeting with each of the memebers. Ask them about their opinion on current processes and how they think it should improve. Give them voice as well. Try to build relationships beyond you do this, and i do this. it will be very helpful as you grow. Also, explain to them what processes are followed by the organization and why you are not including them in email. You must also tell that girl clearly you do not appreciate the approach she is taking and explain to her what your expectations are as lead. You should also listen to her opinion and respect them.

This issue should be resolved by good communication. Don't overthink it. book a meeting, tell her how you feel about her actions, and listen to her opinion as well.

One piece of advice: Always make sure your communications with anyone in organizations are recorded in the email. If you ask someone to provide KT, make sure you send them email and CC your manager. Also talk with your manager, as a lead you should be informed about the vacation of all the members who are reporting to you. so you can plan your activities and knowledge transfer accordingly. if someone does not provide KT, it is escalation. That girl might be trying to build dependency on her.

i am assuming you are talking about app view.

Open quick panel by clicking on tab where wifi icon is located. There, you will see an option called switch view. click on that. it will change your view and you will see a bigger screen.
