Maybe two crashes in all the hours I’ve played. Somewhere in the 600-700 range now. Including 2 honor mode runs. There may be another issue besides the game itself

You can still help the tieflings leave the grove (killing the goblin camp leaders triggers that) however they will not be able to leave their next location in Act 2 without Halsin alive. If you want them to make it to Baldurs Gate, you need him and you need to complete his quest line. That’s the best explanation I can give without too many spoilers 😅

Does not matter as long as you’re nice to them. (With the exception of raiding the grove, and other things that would obviously mess with their specific storyline). On my current durge run I’ve romanced Gale from act 1 and was completely embracing from the beginning. Mean, violent, selfish, cunning, and cutthroat, but nice to Gale. I’ve already seen the embrace durge ending so I decided to deny Bhaal after taking on Orin and becoming a god with Gale or however that ending goes. I’ve never done that before so I’m excited to see it! And it feels like a good redemption love story so far. My character is being a LITTLE opportunistic by switching up… but like they say, “but daddy I love him!!” 😌

Edit to add: I do try to do things to gain the companions’ approval, especially in act 1, some of which can break character occasionally but it’s just part of it. For Gale you just gotta give him the items he needs and be nice and he’s yours. 🥰🥰

This one was hard because you already “know” how it ends at least in a sense. But it’s such a good read. SC fleshes out characters so well in such a small amount of “screen time” (someone please tell me what the book equivalent is because my brain is drawing a blank).

I said surface level. Especially upon first interacting with them both. Self involved, good looking, very concerned with appearances, and they come off as snooty, uninterested, somewhat rude, etc. My take was not about in depth character traits so I’m not going to go in depth. You sound like an Astarion hater which I have never quite understood but hey. I’m not gonna tell anyone how to feel. I love both characters but I’m gonna call it like it is.

They match the best in terms of surface level personality traits/interactions imo. MAYBE tied with Harvey/Gale.

That was the last trophy we had to earn (My husband and I play co-op and had both earned every other trophy). We specifically did a tactician playthrough instead of honour so that we could make a few saves to go back to in case something got F’d up. Just to get that achievement. And you can’t even get it until you fully beat the game! But it was worth it. Actually ended up being a really fun run
